The 2020 Theft Saved This Country
AMERICAN THINKER ^

Posted on 10/09/2024 7:59:59 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

If Trump had been acknowledged as the winner, his administration would have continued to be hamstrung by the RINOs, uniparty members, and those intent on sabotage - who populated his administration. Those folks are long gone, and this time, they will not be invited back.

Second-term 45 would have been successful, but 47 will be that on jet fuel.

It took Jimmy Carter to give us Ronald Reagan. Was it good that Gerald Ford lost in '76? Does the nation need to go through these 'mood swings?'

Watergate and the pardon gave the WH to the democrats. 'Read my lips' did it a second time W turned the other cheek. McLame 'reached across the aisle'. Mittens? A disaster in the making.

One thing in common-faux conservatives willing to accept losing.

Changes in mood are more like pendulum swings. There is a natural progression to try something else after 2 terms. Dole was a sacrificial lamb in ‘96. I don’t think Trump could have beaten Obama in ‘12 or even ‘24 if both were eligible. Sometimes top-tier candidates sit it out knowing they’d lose. BJ didn’t. He got lucky and he had the skills-think soccer moms in response to a man’s question.

"The impact Trump and his administration will have will exceed any before him. This is one of the reasons they want to kill him. And Trump isn’t the end; he’s just the beginning. This is a generational transformation that is just starting and it is now unstoppable."

Maybe. But 2020 and actions after were like Toto pulling aside the curtain the "wizard" was hiding behind.

The problem is, now Orwell's words about fraud and force come into play, imho.

I don’t know if I agree. The illegitimate Biden Junta has done irreparable damage and moved the Overton Window by several magnitudes. We’ll never fully recover, and the next Dem administration will just build on the destruction.

A very interesting counterfactual interpretation

One can argue, Americans needed time to fully absorb how corrupt and politicized their Fed.gov is, and for the manipulative deep-state to reveal itself, and Trump himself needed time to adjust his own thinking.

Trump would have never brought in erstwhile opponents like RFK, Gabbard or Ramaswamy in 2020.

You know, this pisses me off. But he has a point.
But good God, the human life and financial toll the American people paid to get us here for another chance is horrible.
And death and misery around the world is uncountable.

But the writer has a point. Had he won 2020, the internal Repub and Dem sedition that was IN PLACE would have never stopped.

He has a chance now that they all gloated, wrote books, bragged atc after 2020.

Not only do they accept losing, they seem to encourage it. Remember this guy? Rush talked about him all the time. I'll bet not one in a hundred know who he is.

Wiki -->

Robert Henry Michel (1923 – 2017) was an American Republican Party politician who was a member of the United States House of Representatives for 38 years. He represented central Illinois' 18th congressional district, and was the GOP leader in the House, serving as House Minority Leader during his last 14 years in Congress (1981–1995).

His tenure in leadership occurred during the latter part of the decades-long era in which the Democratic Party held a majority in the House of Representatives. Well known for his bipartisanship and friendship with prominent Democrats in the house, Michel was eventually eclipsed by Newt Gingrich and other younger Republicans who favored a more hardball style. Michel did not seek re-election in the 1994 mid-term elections, where Gingrich led the Republican Revolution that resulted in the GOP taking control of the House for the first time in 40 years.

Rush always said he was perfectly content to be in the minority all his years in Congress.

“Those folks are long gone, and this time, they will not be invited back.” Excellent point. But the entrenched bureaucracy will still be in place, along with the poisonous Deep State, and you can be sure they’ll double down on their anti-Trump sabotage. Trump’s first term will be a walk in the park by comparison.

We’re not “saved” yet and may never be. There’s a lot of intractable problems that even the mighty Trump may not be able to overcome.

Think ‘the worst economy in the last 50 years’. (It wasn’t’t that bad.) Just think how the left went to the mat over Clarence Thomas that cost us in ‘92. Add Perot.

Some of these things are unpredictable. Think hurricanes/covid. Then think of how the left capitalized on Katrina and used covid to their advantage. When Monica is worse than a pubic hair on a coke(Thomas) the left will win the argument.

Our leaders are not smart enough. Add the word lazy.

It took Jimmy Carter to give us Ronald Reagan.

~~~~
Reagan turned things around economically, but the overall trend over the last 100 years has been drastically to the left, despite a good part of that being a cold war against marxist expansion around the world. From the “New Deal” to “The Great Society” to Clinton and especially Obama completely weaponizing the deep state, we are a “Constitutional” republic in name only, and the shadowy control that the left has is far more insidious than an in-for-face totalitarian marxist government.
The occasional republican administrations were just hiccups on that path, many of them (like the Bushes) were deep establishment swamp critters.
So, thanks for a stolen election. Whether it’s “what goes around, comes around” or FAFO, this administration and its stolen election have sealed their fate — and it is not a pretty one. Sometimes, what seems to be a loss turns out to be a win.
Thank you, God!
article conclusion.
You may be correct. But this might be a unique situation. Trump's exposure of the deep state to even people who don't pay attention to politics, might be the difference maker that helps remove one of the pendulum's most left leaning springs to make it harder to swing back left as much as it used to.
Assuming, of course, the vote fraud doesn't prevent Trump from getting back in office.
I think that the advantage of a delayed Trump second-term is in what he can do solely by edict (executive action/order).
Why? Because that’s how Biden/Harris have been operating these last 4 years. Continuation of the non-statute illegal DACA policy, hamstringing US CBPE, granting “protected immigrant” status to groups like Haitians, dictating the extinction of ICE energy for transportation, power generation and home use, directing federal LE to ignore illegals, misdirecting funds from orgs like FEMA to illegals support, and on and on and on.
All that can be reversed by the same types of EA/EOs.
All he needs is 4 years, our support and a hell of a good new USSS detail (throw out all the existing senior management and hire his own former protectors). Let the Democrats holler and scream and sue. I’ll take my chances with this USSC. Democrats aren’t going to be happy. :0(
Mike Lindell head been saying that since 2021. If Trump has been inaugurated nobody would’ve been triggered into doing deep dives into the corruption. It would still be basically hidden.
