For the last 8 years or so, to handle the blueberry harvest (June-late July)the farmers in our area have used Haitian. Don't know anything about their diet but they are seriously good workers. They are in the fields before 7 and I see them leaving the fields at dusk.

This year, due to high cost of farming and harvesting, most farmers have picking machines so very few Haitian were hired.

Saw the blueberry fields in southern Georgia this year at harvest time, didn’t see a single Haitian............
