Why do queers watch Disney and vote for demoncraps?
Invalid comparison! Both my children have EV’s. Both are very intelligent with high level of success in college and jobs. I have done many rides in the Tesla and a Chevy EV. Cars run more smooth and quiet than the best ICE cars. Both cars are used mostly for daily commutes to jobs and shopping. I think that is a good fit for EV’s. I owned an EV from 2001-2011 and it was heads and shoulders above gasoline fueled rising golf carts.
I personally would never buy one, because for one, I am retired and most of my trips are longer distance, so far more convenient to re-fuel, and for another, I like the overall economy of ICE cars.
Every type of vehicle has it’s place depending on how it is used.
Do people with solar panels and off grid capability have an oil well in their back yard? No they do not , no one does the EPA will not licence a home refinery either so you are 100% dependent on government licenced and controlled gas stations. Don’t think the dotgov can turn off fuel, they did during Katrina and also Harvey. What they cannot turn off is that glorious thermonuclear fireball in the sky that showers us with its loving bounty. I have a model 3 because I can fuel it indefinitely off my panels and no one only God himself can stop that. I need sun less than once a week to fully fill it. That’s 360 miles of F U to gas stations and their gov enforcers. We get 220+ days of sun per year here any single day puts in 360 miles per day , actually 6 hours of 12 puts in 360 miles so I could have two EVs in Texas with power left over for the house to use too.
You would think that independent minded people would see the benefit of having a fuel station on the roof, but by all means rant away. The kicker is my Model 3 is less expensive than the Volvo that it replaced and its a much nicer car with nearly double the horsepower too. It spanks the turbo Volvo up to any reasonable speed and even well into triple digits too.
