It’s a question a growing number of Democrats are asking as the vice president is increasingly MIA on the campaign trail as the 2024 presidential contest enters its final month.
“There’s a time at which you just have to barnstorm these battlegrounds,” Obama campaign guru David Axelrod told Politico. “These races are decathlons, and there are a lot of events, and you have to do all of them because people want to test you.”
Axelrod said Harris needed to be doing more interviews, including with tougher audiences, and that voters were expecting to see more of her.
While Trump has flooded the zone in rallies around the country, Harris has played it safe.

Since the Democratic convention in August, Harris has spent a third of her time either receiving briefings or locked away in meetings, according to an analysis of her schedule by Politico.
Nearly half of her days since the convention have been in Washington D.C.
“What the f— are y’all doing in the Harris campaign, get her out there now, now!” raged famed Democratic strategist James Carville during a podcast appearance this week, saying Harris needed to be doing more.

I wonder how much campaign cash she has legal personal control of to the extent she can keep it under her control after being defeated.
The Left sees that we’ve entered the phase of the election where Trump is pulling away.
So they launch the Hail Mary of putting Kamala and Walz out there, knowing the odds are north of 90% that they’ll just make it worse. They have no choice.
For the Republicans, it has to now be all [lawyers] hands on deck to capture, identify and prevent the Democrat’s last firewall - mass cheating.
They’ve won the campaign. Now they have to prevent it being stolen by fraud. They have to beat the rats on their own home field.
Exactly. Why bother to campaign properly if 45% of the population would vote the Democratic ticket even if they ran a potted plant or a dead cat. And, the media and voter fraud will close any remaining gap.
Exactly! Harris is calm, cool and collected. It’s like she knows she is going to be handed her crown, without any effort. Exactly what Katie Hobbs did in Arizona too. Too me, this reeks that the fix is in.
I can only hope that Trump will have enough votes to beat the cheat. But who knows what other shenanigans the RAT party has planned.
Kamala Harris is a value-subtracted campaigner and has finally figured this out. The more voters see and hear of her, the less they like her.

Backstory——The Trump campaign filed a complaint in July with the FEC accusing Biden and Harris of violating campaign finance laws by rolling Biden’s campaign funds over to Harris. The complaint came after Biden’s team had amended the name of its campaign committee Sunday to “Harris for President.”

Democrats Seem Nervous About Kamala Losing Her $100 million War Chest

Within hours of President Joe Biden announcing he was suspending his 2024 campaign for the White House, which he did through a letter posted on X, his campaign quickly moved to change from the “Biden for President” to the “Harris for President” on official Federal Election Commission forms. They did this so Harris can access nearly $100 million in already raised campaign funds.
But according to FEC Commissioner Sean Cooksey, a transfer of funds to Harris isn’t that simple. Election law attorney Charlie Spies agrees. The Trump campaign filed a complaint with the FEC Monday over the move, which could force the commission to at least consider whether the change is in compliance with the law and make a ruling.
“Kamala Harris is in the process of committing the largest campaign finance violation in American history and she is using the Commission’s own forms to do it,” the complaint states. “The Commission must not and cannot sit idly by while one candidate takes nearly one hundred million dollars from the authorized committee of another, in violation of the Act and the will of the donors who gave the money in the first place.”
“If Kamala Harris were a candidate for something in 2024, federal law requires her to have filed a Statement of Candidacy and for her name to have appeared in the name of her authorized committee. But Kamala Harris’s name does not appear in the name of her purported authorized committee, ‘Biden for President,’ and, until Sunday, no Statement of Candidacy existed for her. Then Sunday, rather than filing her own Statement of Candidacy, she merely altered Joe Biden’s to replace his name with hers. There is no mechanism under the Act for one individual to end another’s federal candidacy by simply amending the other’s Form 2.
Moreover, in that purported amended Form 2 Harris designated ‘Biden for President’ as her principal campaign committee and then renamed it. Altering a document submitted to a federal agency is a violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1519.3,” it continues, arguing the transfer is, “a brazen money grab that would constitute the single largest excessive contribution and biggest violation in the history of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended.”
In the meantime, Democrats seem very nervous about Cooksey’s skepticism and are doing their best to intimidate the FEC into silence.
I disagree. If the dems knew the fix was in, they’d run someone who they really wanted, like newsom or whitmer.
I am not sure she really wants the job. Being a good president requires a lot of work and attention and a lot of responsibility. Her campaign is spending lots of cash on ads but she still picked a loser for her VP. She still has a bunch of partying in her blood that she can’t do as president.Money wise she is probably set for life, why not go out and spend it on a lavish life style.
