Unimpressed. If he had drenched himself properly, he would have poured the (presumably flammable) liquid over his head or at least on his chest, to demonstrate his commitment. Setting his arm on fire is small stuff, especially since it wasn't that effective -- "pink, superficial burns can be seen on his bare arm" -- he could have gotten more than that from a sunburn.
