Look, if the parents were horrible and such...these teenage kids (at the time) were not physically imprisoned and could have gotten away. Reported to child services at school easily. Or even physically attacked back in self defense, but their parents didn’t attack them. This was not self defense. The way in which they were killed was murder, not self defense.
