Former Bush-Cheney political strategist Matthew Dowd said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) lie so much during debates that there should be commentators watching who fact-check live, like in sports.

If you go a little deeper, one group (Uniparty, Deep State, whatever you want to call it) is treating it as a zero sum game, and has been for quite a while imho--"they" win, the rest of us lose.

By definition, a debate is two people arguing their side of the issue or issues. It is up to their opponent to show weaknesses in their argument or facts. Having a “fact-checker” is introducing a bias towards one side, that is not part of any debate I have ever seen.

An increasing number of informed people have focused on X as a news source since Elon Musk stopped filtering for the government and reinstated a lot of people who were banned by the Leftist filterers.
Note, I stopped watching all TV over 15 years ago. It was NOT worth the time to look at.
I happen to see her on TV this week and she looks terrible. All those years of hating has had a toll on her.
