From the outset it was never going to work: a German tale featuring a noisily Hispanic lead, the Seven Dwarfs turning first into seven "magical creatures" resembling a methadone support group, then when that was hooted off the test screen, "reimagined" into a gang employed by a fellow who didn't appear either in the fairy tale or the movie, then reimagined once more as a ghastly collection of CGI goblins in a supposedly "live action remake"; no Prince, no romance, and nothing but a grim feminist drive for untrammeled power as a principle theme. Now there's one to take the kiddies to!

This wasn't a movie, it was an assassination attempt. Zegler herself has proven a toxic, arrogant spoiled brat with no regard for a classic, her fellow cast members, her audience, or anything but herself squealing "That's Hollywood, baybeee..." It won't kill Woke by itself but it just might be a mortal wound. We can hope.

They have had at least three re-shoots on this picture have spent around $500 million producing this thing and that is before marketing cost. They will never make their money back on this movie. It may end up being one of the biggest flops ever in Hollywood.

This film is probably going to be the ultimate DEI nightmare. If Disney had any sense at all, they would pull the plug on this film lock it up in a vault and take the write off and never ever let the public see this thing.
