Hurricane Helene has wrought deadly and destructive havoc across the South and Appalachia, killing dozens and doing billions in property damage. Fast on Helene’s heels, we now have another disaster hitting the U.S.: The longshoreman strike that now threatens to shut down much of the U.S. economy.
And very conspicuously, Joe Biden did nothing about it. No jawboning. No ideas. No attempt to cool tempers and bridge differences to get a deal. Apparently Biden’s leaving it to others as he whiles away the remainder of his only term as president at his beloved Rehoboth Beach vacation home.
Kind of like his administration’s reaction to the devastation from Hurricane Helene, the second-deadliest hurricane of this century. A complete failure.
As for the port shutdown, Biden as president has the authority and political clout to help mediate a dangerous strike that has both economic and national security implications. But he did nothing to stop the potentially devastating walkout. He apparently has left it in the hands of anonymous aides and incompetent Cabinet members to deal with the mess.
They are failing spectacularly. Yes, Biden did nothing. Nor did Vice President Kamala Harris, a likely preview of what’s in store if she becomes president. How about Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg? Is he on a second paternity leave? If not, why has he done zip about this?
How about Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo? Don’t the nation’s ports have something to do with “commerce”?
Here was her response when asked about it in a television interview. “I have not been focused on that,” she said in a CNBC interview, in which she was appearing as a campaign “surrogate” for Harris.
“Not been focused”? Is that a sick joke? That’s her job. No, instead of doing her job, she’s chosen instead to join Harris’ election campaign, while still being paid by public tax dollars. By the way, the strike could cripple our economy, costing by some estimates as much as $4.5 billion a day.
Yet, as a surrogate for Harris, Raimondo in an MSNBC interview called for Donald Trump to be “extinguished for good.” By using those words, she was in essence calling for Trump to be killed. With Trump having had two serious assassination attempts in the last two months, such comments can only be thought to invite another mentally unstable leftist to have another try.
In her words you can see the burning, irrational hatred that the deranged left has for Trump — and by extension, his “deplorable” supporters (who happen to live in the areas most affected by the hurricane, and who will also bear the brunt of the strike).
And right now, their votes might be all that’s standing in the way of absolute, one-party rule for the Democrats.
Raimondo’s words seem to reflect the Democrats’ new modus operandi: whip up hate, let the country go to Hell, and count on all the reliable media’s lefty bootlickers to make excuses for your failures and incompetence. Then seize even more power.
It’s all about power, not good governance. In Raimondo’s case, she should be fired forthwith for her dereliction. But, of course, she won’t be. And neither will any of the rest of the do-nothings in the Biden administration.
Which is an enormous problem.
Right now we face serious threats to global stability and the U.S.’ leadership: China’s threats against Taiwan and its other neighbors. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and its bullying of Eastern Europe. Iran’s nuclear threat, which grows by the day, and its continued use of terrorist proxies such as Hamas and Hezbollah to further its goal of becoming a global nuclear power.
Domestically, Americans must reckon with continued surges in out-of-control illegal immigration, along with threats to their constitutional rights to free speech, freedom of religion, and the right to bear arms.
Add to that runaway inflation, soaring housing and energy costs, an explosion in federal spending that has pushed U.S. total debt well beyond the once-unthinkable level of $30 trillion, a surge in crime, elevated drug deaths, and awful schools, to name just a few of the problems we’ve seen worsen under the Biden administration.
Biden held the reins of power in his hands for almost three years and failed miserably. Now, as he dodders off into the sunset, we’re seeing his “Cabinet,” which has met once in the last 11 months, fail at its job, too.
We’d call this a clown show, but after a clown show most people laugh. This isn’t funny at all.
The level of incompetence in this administration, from the top down, is stunning. It’s almost as if it’s trying to fail. America, only you can fix this. At the ballot box.
It’s not incompetence.....nobody could possibly believe that any longer.
It’s the obvious destruction of America by the globalist cabal. If you were deliberately trying to cause disaster and chaos to America, what would you do differently?
It’s frustrating to see people so naive that they think this is mere incompetence.
Biden’s whiling away the rest of his term at his million dollar Rehoboth Beach vacation home:
<><>snoozing on the beach
<><>visiting his fave ice cream shop
<><>preparing Hunter’s pardon
<><>oiling his 2020 steal machine for Kamala
<><>getting Zelensky pinned down WRT tax dollars he’ll hog
<><>hand-picking US communities needing migrant crime and chaos.
Biden’s got a lot of help.
The Executive Office of the President employs 1800 tax-paid individuals, some 584 work in the WH.
Biden has czar(ed) up – naming at least 21 czars to date, with plans to fill 55 positions. These include: National Climate Advisor Regina McCarthy ($180,000) and a Special Envoy for Climate, John Kerry – who is listed in press accounts, but doesn’t appear in the payroll data. Others include Jeff Zients ($36,000), the COVID-19 czar. Critics at Politico have already questioned, “How many czars does the Biden administration need?” Trump had no czars.
Starting in 2015, President Obama instituted a new fellowship – a White House Leadership Development program with an initial class of sixteen. During the Trump years, the program was dormant. On June 4th, Biden appointed 22 members to the fellowship program. None of these appear in the payroll disclosure.
Like most presidents, Joe Biden doesn’t donate his salary. Donald Trump was the first since JFK to donate his pre-tax quarterly salary to govt agencies.
Following tradition, Dr. Jill Biden isn’t paid as First Lady. However, she maintains an outside income – her govt salary as a “community college professor” at Northern Virginia Community College. When she teaches class is not known.

Jill Biden has numerous staffers including press, communication, and advance trip directors; media coordinators and schedulers. There are senior advisors, and even a couple of social secretaries. Five of the employees also serve the president in some capacity. In 2009, former First Lady Michelle Obama faced criticism for her twenty-four assistants, advisors, aides, and social secretaries. Laura Bush had a staff of eighteen. In 2017, Melania Trump, in her first year, had a staff of five employees.
WH employees serving Jill Biden (five also serve the president) cost taxpayers $1.35 million and include:
Julissa Reynoso Pantaleon, Chief of Staff to the First Lady
and White House Gender Policy co-chair ($180,000);
Elizabeth Alexander, Director of Communications for the First Lady ($155,000);
Carlos Elizondo, Social Secretary ($155,000)
Deputy Social Secretary, Liz Hart ($80,000)
Press Secretary, Michael LaRosa, $100,000
You are assuming Democrats are intelligent....
Think this Union boss had a dead body in his trunk at one time.
“It blows my mind that people don’t get it by now.”
Some of the smarter people I know were focused more on the tone of the Vice Presidential debate than they are current geopolitical events.
It’s nauseating how oblivious so many people continue to be.
Time is ticking. This strike could have been avoided, and would have been if Trump was in the WH instead of Biden/Harris/ Obama.
Couldn’t agree more!!! NO Red Cross. Loads of businesses around here promoting FEMA...my God in Heaven...brainwashed, or what?
The levels of incompetence we are seeing through out government agencies is not accidental. It rises to willful intent
Ok, Pollyanna, thanks for the tip.
Fresh propaganda from the State

Administration Incompetence Level
The concept of the Peter Principle, developed by Laurence J. Peter, suggests that individuals in a hierarchy tend to rise to their “level of respective incompetence.” This phenomenon has been observed in various organizations, including government administrations.
The search results highlight instances of incompetence within the Trump Administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as reported by Senator Ron Wyden. The 76-page review reveals “stunning incompetence, mismanagement, and abuse of power” in the agency’s handling of protests in Portland.
This finding echoes the Peter Principle’s prediction that employees will be promoted based on their success in previous roles until they reach a level where they are no longer competent. In this case, the incompetence may have been exacerbated by a lack of understanding of the skills required for higher-level positions.
Systemic Problems and Lack of Accountability
The review’s findings suggest that the Trump Administration’s DHS suffered from systemic problems, including:
Inadequate training and guidance for personnel
Insufficient oversight and accountability
Political interference in decision-making processes
These issues may have contributed to the administration’s inability to effectively manage the situation in Portland, leading to allegations of abuse of power.
Implications and Recommendations
The report’s conclusions emphasize the need for a “top-to-bottom overhaul” of DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis to address the identified problems. This suggests that the incompetence was not limited to a single individual or department, but rather was a pervasive issue throughout the organization.
The Peter Principle’s corollary, which states that every position within an organization will eventually be filled with someone incompetent to fulfill its duties, may have been exemplified in this case. The administration’s response to the situation in Portland may have been hindered by the presence of incompetent individuals in leadership roles.
Ultimately, the level of incompetence in this administration, from the top down, is indeed stunning, and it highlights the importance of effective leadership, accountability, and organizational design.

for MAGA AND MAHA people
“President Trump and his supporters are using the GoFundMe platform to direct unprecedented levels of generosity from MAGA supporters to help Americans facing the terrible aftermath of Hurricane Helene. In just a matter of days, this account for those across the Southeastern US has raised millions of dollars. Please continue to support your fellow Americans in their recovery efforts! President Trump is grateful for your support of this effort and as funds come in we will disperse to those who have been impacted. We have selected Samaritan’s Purse and Water Mission as the recipients of this generosity. We have made an initial disbursement and will continue providing more funds as support continues to come in.
What do you expect from a walking corpse and a cackling hyena?
Competent? Definitely not. Corrupt? Criminal? Communist? Definitely.
Can we? 2020 would strongly suggest otherwise.
The shots are being called by a cabal committee. It takes time to consider, argue and then come up with a solution, usually an abject failure.
One man in charge (Trump) can make a decision and follow thru in no time.
THIS White House? Requires approval from:
1. Geroge Soros
2. Barrack Obama
3. Nanzi Pelosi
4. Chuck Schumer
5. George Clooney (purse strings)
6. Deep State council (Brennen, Clapper, Garland, Jarret, Mayorkas, and Wray).

Soviet Union had this form of government (after Lenin/Stalin).
It didn't work very well. But at least, they were somewhat rational and predictable.
At the very least Biden should get out of the way and let the private communities do what they do best. The Democrats can take credit when the initial work is done.
