The University of Wyoming women's volleyball team became the third in the nation to forfeit a game to San Jose State this season.
Wyoming joined Boise State and Southern Utah, all of which did not give a specific reason for the forfeit.
"After a lengthy discussion, the University of Wyoming will not play its scheduled conference match against San Jose State University," the volleyball program said in a statement on Tuesday. "Per Mountain West Conference policy, the conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Wyoming."

Yes. A man on a women’s volleyball court can be and has been dangerous to the other team’s safety. One woman has already been severely injured by a man on the opposing team.
The 3 colleges should have a friendly BBQ, and, if there’s a volleyball court nearby, have some impromptu games. All that training shouldn’t go to waste.

What coach in their right mind would enter a volleyball contest where an opposing team has an unfair advantage? Just be asking to lose. Plus why put your players ,who have worked very hard to compete, at physical risk?Letting them get blasted in the nose, eyes. face or head with a very fast shot...seems stupid...would health insurance cover a game against men?
If all of the other teams forfeited ONLY against San Jose, then the standings would put San Jose as undefeated, but the San Jose players would have ZERO stats. No minutes played, no points scored, no rebounds, or whatever other stats they keep in volleyball, and no individual awards.
There was a famous all-tranny vollyball team in Thailand about twenty years ago, and they were the championship team. The big difference - they played against men.
