I've been seeing a lot of Wooly Bear Caterpillars lately. All that I've seen have a wide, brown, middle section predicting a mild Winter for us in SW Wisconsin. 'Mild' is more than do-able! :)

I have keep an eye out for them. For some reason, I haven’t even seen a wooly bear this year. I hope it’s a mild winter here, too. That would be welcome.

Ok, saw one just minutes ago. Its head is on the right side. What do you think? He has a long middle but there’s more black at the front. Mild winter but something at the beginning?
