Uh, yeah. I’ve kind of been able to use the sci-fi flicks & TV shows to do decodes. Not in Majic Eyes depth, but a bit similar.

There was a guy I worked with that told me after high school he joined the Navy and started training as an electrician. Fortunately, it didn’t take them long to figure out and explain to him what it meant to be “color blind”. Luckily before he was put in any position of having to decide between cutting the red wire or the green wire.

Apparently I have something similar going on, but with analyzing movie/TV sci-[non]fi plots and doing cabal decodes from them. THAT was real fun coming to realize I could do it. I also know a few other people that are figuring it out.

I’ve purchased the entire Stargate series and have gotten most of the way through it. Now about that Arc of the Covenant [aka Arc of “Gabriel”] stored at Mar Lago...
