I’ve been experimenting with mulled cider for a few years now. I have quite a few spices, lol.
Here are a few: crystallized ginger, juniper berries, whole allspice, whole cloves, whole cardamom, local honey, anise seed, ground nutmeg, ground mace, ground ginger, orange peel, ground allspice, cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon and vanilla extract.
I’ve had mulled wine in Germany on a frigidly cold day.
It works!..............
