Frankfort Have you ever been there? It’s three parts little town to one part capital. Bourbon is king. The capital is an afterthought.
My fifth great grand uncle invented Bourbon. His name was Elijah T. Craig. Next time you’re in a bar, look for his label.
It is a nice little town. There’s some interesting things to see. It’s got an incredibly unique and poignant Vietnam Memorial. Nobody should go to Frankfurt without seeing it.
Spent a week in Kentucky two summers ago, including three visits to Buffalo Trace. Brought over 10 gallons of bourbon back to Virginia with me. Hard to get any Buffalo Trace products here. I gifted some, but still got a buch left.
