Caitlin Clark's season is over. The Sun eliminated Clark's Fever on Wednesday. To many viewers, they have no interest in the WNBA season if Clark is not playing.
ESPN commentator David Dennis Jr. hopes that is the case.
"I hope the people who say they are staying away from the WNBA now that CC is gone actually keep to their promise," Dennis posted on X on Thursday. "These are about to be all-time series and their toxicity isn’t needed. Let us enjoy things."
In other words, an ESPN employee is encouraging the vast majority of WNBA viewers to stop watching the WNBA playoffs, which ESPN exclusively airs.
A drastic difference remains in interest between WNBA games featuring Clark and games that do not. This season, games in which Clark played averaged 1.178 million viewers. Games without her averaged just 394,000 viewers.

Few ever heard of or watched an WNBA game before Clark, it shows how stupid the league is to allow the black players to rough her up.
The WNBA needs Caitlyn more than Caitlyn needs the WNBA, she’s already set for life.

And of course, with the World Series and football going on, you can bet on ESPN’s webpage the WNBA Playoffs will be their top story.
me either, I watched a couple of her college games, they were entertaining. If I want to see black girls beat on white girls, i'll go to an inner city High School.
It's interesting that they've decided all of Clark's fan's are white (so of course, racist). I could easily list several YouTubers who regularly comment on the games, and they're all pro-Clark and have enhanced melanin levels. Don't tell the racist Clark fans, but at least half of her team appear to be black.
My gym has ESPN on one of the TVs. I see it every morning. I actually feel sorry for the people who watch several low IQ black guys, a very nice looking airhead bimbo, and lately a low IQ black female, talking about sports ball. The sound is off and it looks like they’re all just acting like they’re fired up about something. I would be embarrassed to let people know I watched that.
This is all I need to watch to tell me that a human being on this Earth is very special.
