To the editor: As a physician who has spent the last 40 years saving countless lives, I abhor guns and the damage they have wreaked on society. I was appalled to hear Vice President Kamala Harris laughing while talking about shooting an intruder during her campaign event with Oprah Winfrey.

So laughing about taking a life from someone trying to harm you is bad, but getting a paycheck to kill an innocent baby is good ?

He didn’t say it was wrong to defend your home and maybe take a life.
He said it was wrong for Harris to so cavalierly laugh about it. He has a point. It’s a serious and sober thing to shoot somebody and take their life. But she just laughed and giggled about it.
Of course, then Dr. Sarkar goes on to prove himself an uneducated and grossly misinformed ignoramus when he writes “I will not vote for her Republican opponent, a convicted criminal and pathological liar.”
Sad thing is that so many “caregivers” are of this same loony mindset!
Thankful that she is NOT voting. One less vote I don’t have to suffer!Now, if she could only convince the rest of her family and friends to sit the election out, it would be dandy!

Sorry doctor. Someone breaks into your home, their intentions are not good. So you can either treat the gunshot intruder, or his victims. There is no third way.

I have nothing to learn about guns from a guy named “Soumitra” bashing the second amendment.

Given the “logic” shown in the letter, I’d avoid this “physician” like I’d avoid Pfizer Covid shots. He is proof that, just like Kamala, some schools lower their standards. A lot.

Soumitra Sarkar doesn’t know jack sh** about inalienable rights, the Constitution, the rule of law, Marxism, Fascism or freedom in general
If Kamala thought that the rehearsed line would lessen peoples fear that she would be a threat to the 2A, she failed miserably. Given her long history of anti 2A policy, It was such an obvious lie. It undermined her credibility which was already at zero anyway.
