But if you take shrooms, you could very well cause yourself to have schizophrenia.

Expecting some shroom news this fall. The pushers of the measure will be pushing.
Shrooms are on the MA ballot (Q#4). Any other states?

“..curb mental illness...”
What is a bigger mental illness that can be helped with psilocybin, an eating disorder or a trans freak who thinks he can actually change his sex to a female after getting his testicles cut off? /s

A number of people have been helped by mushrooms, but I think it’s only when they are micro-dosed. That makes sense to me.
To: JudyinCanada
The 25 mg dose used in research definitely isn’t a micro-dose; it is more like a moderate dose when compared to recreational use which might be 50.

Plus these are not your father's mushrooms.
Never, ever, again. And yes, you can be a walking mess if you don't have a sane mind going down that Rabbit hole.
This ain't the 70's near a cow pasture. Today they cultivate them in laboratory conditions with carefully developed strains. I would not recommend it for most.

Con: Opens the doors of perception. "Fragile" by YES will do that. But some folk have bad trips and get cranky from the high/whiny voice and plucky/tinny guitar fiddling.
