Dark chocolate. I only consume it because I have to, not because I want to. Doctor.

I love Strawberries. The trick in buying Strawberries is when at all possible, avoid the bitter ones. Nothing worse than buying a tub of bright red berries, only to discover they tastes more sour than a lemon!

The strawberries we have the best success with are Well-Pict.

Cheer up. The funding for the research was from the Irish government and agriculture interests.

My mother lived on wine and dark chocolate. It didn’t help her avoid dementia any.

We get lots of blueberries in the Summer from a local CSA farm (community supported agriculture). We’ll get some in the weekly basket, plus they’ll have bonus days you can come pick your own and get some more, which we try to take advantage of.
And Costco has these great dark chocolate truffles every year with all the Christmas chocolates. Best deal on quality dark chocolate going.

It’s two 1 kilo boxes, each has two 1/2 kilo foil packs. I think they’re up at about $12, but that’s a great deal.

Enough dark chocolate to last you a long time! Assuming you don’t go overboard.

Some reports say that some dark chocolates MAY have heavy metals and other bad stuff in it. Best to try a little at a time at first.

Six additional servings of flavonoid-rich foods per day?
That’s a lot of chocolate and wine!
