Some years ago when I was still active on Facebook, there was an organization that hired professors to teach online in their free time for a small fee, but it was right-leaning. I went back to my Facebook page to see if I could find the organization, but was unable, and I'm not sure if they're still active or if they're simply no longer active on Facebook.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's really bothering me that I don't remember the name of the organization.
Any help is appreciated, even if it isn't the one I was originally looking for.
Hillsdale.
2nd on Hillsdale. It’s free.
Perhaps something like the Fund for American Studies or the Intercollegiate Studies Institute?
Bump
I’ll look into that. I could swear it had, “Institute” in the name, but it’s escaping me.
I checked both of those, and it was neither, but I will look into them further.
Hillsdale is free, though some courses have books for sale. Their full K-12 curriculum is downloadable. Great Courses is all on line now, and I believe they have a monthly option. Support materials are in PDF form. Kahn Academy is all on YouTube. I used Learner dot org for high school when I homeschooled. Some courses have support material in PDF, some have books and support materials for teachers. I also used Britannica encyclopedia. Back then they were trying to start their own academy, but it didn’t pan out. I still managed to download all the samples.
Yes! Totally forgot ISI. I used to subscribe to their magazines. They had lots of subject guidance brochures that were an education unto themselves.
Prager?
