Kylan Darnell has already spent close to $100,000 to be in an elite sorority at the University of Alabama...
At Darnell's sorority fees alone can cost around $30,000 a year.
For those joining the sorority for the first time a lump payment of $4,581 is charged in the fall semester for new member fees, followed by another $4,441 in the Spring semester.
On top of that are ‘dues’, fees paid to cover the activities of the sorority. These are around $1,400 every month.
For members that choose to live in the sorority’s mansion a fee of $10,422 is charged each of the two semesters....

Well, men can join Kappa Kappa Gamma, I would imagine dues would be the same without regard to the lower plumbing< of the person.
I believe those would be “fraternities”.

I was going to say, I was in Kappa Sigma Fraternity at UF in the late 70s, I live in the house for 2 years.
You had to live somewhere and the Frat House fee for living in the house was cheaper than living in an apartment and comparable to living in a dorm.
You had to eat, we had a meal plan, 2 meals a day for Monday thru Friday, it was a more balanced meal plan than eating out or cooking for yourself and wasn’t that expensive.
My parents were schoolteachers and didn’t have an issue with the cost of being in a Fraternity, it helped my father and brother were both in Fraternities at different schools
Well, if the dream career of “NFL quarterback wife” is eventually achieved, I suppose it is a cheap investment. :)
