Those bass turds on that ship need to pay to have the FRANCIS SCOTT KEY BRIDGE rebuilt.
I don’t understand why we would let it go until payment for damages was made. We could melt it down and use the steel for the new bridge.
This will take the marine insurance adjuster years to resolve all of the claims. Every cargo owner that had containers aboard the ship is also exposed to potential liability by way of the law of general average. Negligence on the part of the ship owners may mitigate that liability, but it will take many years and many marine law attorneys to make that determination.
One could also surmise that if they did not have to switch fuels in the US then this would not have happened even given the other failures.
