You are correct. The CO2 levels rise due to warming. It has to do with the solubility of CO2 in water. Warming changes this balance. The warmer the ocean is the less CO2 it can keep in solution. Just like a warm bottle of soda. Open it and reduced the pressure and the CO2 bubbles out.
Oddly the Vostok cores from the Russian station in antarctic proves this. The Vostok cores were used to prove global warming due to CO2 levels. That was false. The Russians initially used rather large intervals for analysis of ancient CO2 levels. It proved conclusively that CO2 was the driving force of global warming, case closed but it was not. The Russians then analyzied the cores on a smaller basis of interval of time. Voila! They discovered that temperature rises first followed by CO2 rise. It is all about the solubility of CO2 in water relative to temperature.
The warming and cooling of the earth are a function of celestial mechanics of the earth's orbit. If one looks at the past geologic history of warming periods greater than our present great beasts roamed the earth. They were big because they had a lot of food due to CO2 levels multiple times greater than today. CO2 is plant food and vegetation flourished in the extreme. It feed the food chain all the way up to Tyrannosaurs Rex.
So does warm weather cause animals or do animals cause warm weather? 🤔
Scientists agree with 97% of whoever is funding them.
The Sahara was once green.
The Anasazi’s experienced severe drought for years.
485 MILLION years??? Seriously? That’s some great “medical marijuana” these “scientists” are smoking. And they wonder why nobody takes them seriously anymore…
Morons.
Created by combining more than 150,000 pieces of fossil evidence with state-of-the-art climate models, it shows the intimate link between carbon dioxide and global temperatures and reveals that the world was in a much warmer state for most of the history of complex animal life. At its hottest, the study suggests, the Earth’s average temperature reached 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit (36 degrees Celsius) — far higher than the historic 58.96 F (14.98 C) the planet hit last year.

Good catch, the devil is in the details. I found a link too after a little digging. [1] The reconstruction has some validity. It picks up the great die-off of 250 million ybp. Pangaea was beginning to break-up, releasing water vapor, sulfates and CO2 into the atmosphere. I read that when super-continents formed, after about 100 million years, large plumes of magma well-up underneath resulting in increased volcanism, leading to a break-up of the super-continent.
The proxies seem to add value to the reconstruction [Michael Mann’s 1998 Principle Component Analysis (PCA) was complete garbage] but they added model simulations into the mix which are notoriously unreliable.
I remember reviewing satellite derived global annual temperature back in 1989. I remember that the average for that year was ~58.5F [see The International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP)]. But NOAA hides these data archives from the public, so sad. The global annual average temperature is essentially unchanged, especially when uncertainty is added. They like to hide the uncertainty too. The spike in global temperatures after 2021 are most likely from the Hunga Tonga volcanic explosion of Jan. 2022. The explosion rang the Earth like a bell. But the injection of water vapor into the stratosphere is beginning to dissipate. I expect a slight cooling to resume into the 2030s from low solar and a stadium wave effect of warming and cooling (with a period of ~60 years (see Judith Curry).

That’s what I’m saying.
We built a nice house atop a glacial moraine outside Soldotna, AK in the 1990’s. One of the homes we owned outside Sandpoint, ID had bedrock exposures in the front yard that bore linear grooves from glaciers sliding over them. Our most recent build outside of Libby, MT is on the shore of what was Glacial Lake Missoula. Civilization exists wherever geology allows it. Libtards are so enamored of themselves that they believe that humans can exert control over the natural processes of the Earth. What conceited morons they are.
Where are the ice ages in the chart?
“The Sahara was once green.”
Geologist have found river beds in the Sahara.
The Great Lakes were formed by glaciers.
Climate and CO2 has been all over the place even before man was here.
Back in the late 60’s we heard “THE ICE AGE IS COMING!!!”
Started by The Club of Rome, the precursor to the WEF. That tells you everything you need to know
Sure, close one eye completely and squint with the other, or keep both eye wide open and read what the graph really says..
Ok guys get over this.
I was saying the Sahara was green in the past is cyclical, not climate change.
But you all who think you know so much do not even know that I’ve already said this.
We’re on the same page on this...oscillations in the Earth’s wobble and rotation shift the wind patterns north over the Sahara, and bring monsoon type rains. This happens on a scale of about 25k years. It is a normal state of the Earth’s climate, and has nothing to do with human inputs.
I’d like to know about the decision that we now live in the perfect climate and must stop it from changing.
Who decided that?
Science used to be a great journal.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Clown world. Wow.
