Autumn is prime time for enjoying ales and lagers, and there's no shortage of fall beers waiting to be tapped—be it while watching a football game, reading up on IPA beer history, or raking leaves (we'd also recommend hoisting lager steins at your local Oktoberfest bash). Fall’s cooler weather welcomes a bounty of fall beers.
There are plenty of heartier styles suited for taking off the chill and pairing with that bubbling pot of chili. Stouts, porters, and nitro beers are once again fair game, and coolers swell with fleeting releases such as fresh-hopped pale ales and pumpkin everything.
We welcome several intriguing ales to store shelves, including IPAs seasoned with spruce tips to ambers ales spiked with maple syrup.

Yes. It is.
(Sigh…) I’m ready for cooler temperatures but I’m not ready for the summer beers to make their exit yet.
But a couple of the Märzens and festbiers look interesting. 😋
Yuengling black and tan is not a bad substitute for Bass which I also like.
I like all sorts of beers, but despise smoked beers! I love fires, smoking food, I’ve got a wood stove I burn almost 24/7 in the winter.
But I hate drinking smoke.
My dad used to say, “My ancestors brought me out of the woods and caves. I don’t need my food to taste like smoke and dirt”. He had the same attitude about eating outside, like at picnics or out on the deck. He wouldn’t eat. Same sort of thought.
The absolute best beer every fall is PUMKING by Southern Tier!
I’m a stout guy. Coffee stout, oatmeal stout, and I like a good brown ale if it’s done right.
I was a Bass Ale drinker in college. It was a great beer back in the day.
NI’m t much of a camper then, huh?
There’s nothing finer than a Shiner.
Nope. Same sort of thinking on his part. Hotels. Lodges.
Brewed in NH for US market . Not the same as beer brewed in UK . Bass swallowed up by Molson Coors . No thank you .
