I am not silly or naive.
It is not that these people shouldn’t be punished...or executed.
However a society so ball-less that it metes out the responsibility to prisoners instead of stepping up and taking the responsibility on itself is a society of children instead of men and women.
A society on the rapid downhill slide. I see Asian countries that know where they stand and what they believe is right.
Then I see pussies applauding and being complacent with our culture’lack of courage.

And the conversation needs to be about their shame in living in a country with no courage.

No kidding. Using inmates to do the work the state needs to do is the ultimate of cowardice. Pathetic.

Tennessee and Florida have passed legislation that makes child sex abuse a death penalty crime. I am not aware if in the past any state punished child sex abuse as a capital crime. I believe child molesters were handled extrajudicially. The locals would make the rapist an invitee to a “necktie party”, or he would suffer a fatal accident at the police station, or, if neither happened, the prison population would finish him off. I have heard that child rapists were the lowest on the prison totem pole and their release into the general population was effectively a death sentence, as much in 1944 as in 2024.

Justice happens in many places besides a courtroom.

I am a retired records manager who worked with criminal records. The records I hated handling the most were pedophile cases. I can’t tell you how often I broke down in tears for the children who were the victims. I have no sympathy for the pedo. I’m not cheering but, as the saying goes, “live by the sword, die by the sword”. He chose poorly - and paid the price for it.

"All the aircraft landed on their own. It was hairy, but they all landed safely."
That must have been a really scary situation. I'm assuming that the pilots could at least communicate with each other, and were able to land without a hitch. At least nobody panicked and caused problems.

Many and my work with young boys tells me that these freaks are not fussy.
I am not arguing that they are bad actors. Who may deserve the death penalty.
But that comes with societal courage.
None here and this is wrong.

But the price is being allocated by inmates instead of the state.
This is the porn of criminal justice.
Of course if the pedophile deserves justice it should happen.
Not this pussy hiding
