Havana syndrome is a total scam started by foreign service wives. The idiots recorded crickets in Havana and thought they recorded the sound of “microwaves”.
They fueled a mass hysteria that let Foreign Service employees medically retire and get huge financial settlements.

The Tucson thing was probably some jackass spraying those bleachers with pepper spray or something a day or two before.
You wouldn’t smell it anymore, but you’d soon get it on your hands, touch your eye, touch your face, rub your nose etc and get a hit...

And a microwave weapon (no, Havana was NOT one) would have had instantaneous effects, not 30 minutes later. Microwave weapons are used to disperse crowds etc... they get an instantaneous sensation of burning to the point that they would flee.

Decades ago the Russians used microwaves to bounce off the very thin metal inside a decorative wall hanging - that enabled remote monitoring of conversations inside the room.
Highly directional microwave antennas can have a very narrow beam such that the unit could be a football field away from the stage.
Depending on the specific material in the speaker’s podium and glass? shields the mw could be blocked but the audience was not shielded.

It sounds to me like your explanation is the most plausible. Even so, that’s a felony, isn’t it? I mean, the pepper spray would have had to have been sprayed there deliberately, wouldn’t it? I know we don’t have a media, and frankly I’m surprised this was even reported by Newsweek. Where’s the police, or the Secret Service? I know, they don’t care.

Is this a trial run? If I can spread pepper spray all over the place prior to a Trump rally, and get away with it, why not spray Trump’s podium with a chemical agent? This is getting ridiculous.

I have experienced Havana in the US. I can show video of the people who operated it, and the walker they deployed on the far side of the target residence, feigning being drunk to loiter, and then being picked up by a vehicle which first arrives with the team behind me wielding the weapon. In one instance it was modulated to operate on a shielding, and I recorded the attack here:

There is a civil war going on in the intel community, and stretching down to regular citizens who signed on with the side which wants to seize control and overthrow the government. It is that rogue clique which is using Havana. Trump is aligned with the opposing force, as far as I can see.

You can see some of the operation trying to seize power at the site in my tag line, which I set up to expose it.

Well that’s a good point about it possibly being some kind of substance on the bleachers. Along those lines it could even have been a residue of improperly diluted cleaning chemicals or something.

That said, I don’t think the idea of it being some type of directed energy is completely bonkers. I have personally experienced UV burns in my eyes. It was from being in the same work area where a guy was arc welding without putting up UV curtains. I was exposed without realizing it during the day and developed the symptoms that evening — incredible burning and watering of my eyes to the point where I could barely drive myself to the emergency room.

When I got there the doc asked me a few questions and quickly determined it was welder burn. He said they see it all the time. They gave me some prescription strength Advil and sent me home to tough it out.

You can get compact lasers these days including IR and UV. Compact enough to surreptitiously laze people in a public setting? I don’t know but it doesn’t seem totally out of the question.
