Why do I need to be a member of anything in order to look at the statistics of your membership to see that you’re absolutely hemorrhaging?

The organization filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2020. Which is not a signal that is doing well.

And I also know that it has hundreds of millions of dollar set aside to pay for litigation for member set up and subjected to sexual abuse.

I already talked about how you lost 50% of your membership in the last three years so there’s that.

So please tell me, other than in you’re emotional opinion, Why this organization is doing well and is on the upswing

Ps. I used to give money and donate to the scouts that were in my neighborhood. Five dollars here $10 there. But I noticed in the last 10 years that their fundraising activity made it no longer possible to donate in those small increments. If you were going to donate you had to be putting down at least 30 bucks, so needless to say stoped. I also knew a guy when I was in the army he was from West Virginia in the National Guard and was a high ranking member of the BSA. He was quite possibly one of the single worst officers I’ve ever met in my life. Which actually makes sense because it seems to me that the leadership the BSA has had, the worst leadership you can imagine for at least the last decade How else could explain what has happened to them in the last 10 years?

Lacking membership and being a backward looking conservative, you can’t see the present and the change.
