Was it the QB or the coach that suffered the concussion?:
"We got to learn firsthand a nice reminder of how it only takes one play and what you think your depth is changes abruptly," McDaniel said. "So that's a move for moving forward to secure some depth in case of the unforeseen, which is timelines for us as it relates to Tua."
Talk about a word salad, Kamala should have picked McDaniel as her VP.

Head football coaches are adept at saying a lot to the media without saying anything. Reason is they don’t want other teams to know what’s REALY going on......they’re alot like politicians that way.

It must be tough to be that young and looking at your life’s work being forced to end. I feel for the guy.
But his life isn’t over. And he merely needs to identify what his true purpose in this world is supposed to be.

I think not! Tom Brady to the rescue?

Tim’s problem is they/he had him playing the wrong position. But that is another discussion.
But when you have another, none football, purpose…the transition must be easier.
I always liked Tebow. He seems like a good guy.

Three concussions! I do not see how any doctor would clear him to ever play again.
It has long been suspected that repeated concussions can result in dementia-like symptoms many years after injury, a condition labeled chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The brain structures damaged in CTE are critical for memory and executive function.
CTE has been studied in boxing, wherein retired boxers developed dementia at a higher rate and a younger age compared with the general population.

I think not! Tom Brady to the rescue?Indeed. The Patriots won their first Superbowl after posting an 11-5 record in 2001. It's still early. Lots of football left to play.

If Tua wants to have a high quality of life for the rest of his days, he should retire. Repeated concussions cannot be good. And money should not be an issue.

Saban needs to sit down with him and tell him to retire.

In my opinion Hamlin was a freak occurence, it was the timing of the hit, and the odds of it happening again are miniscule, and it seems it didn’t cause any permanent damage.
