Every now and then the question gets asked, "if you had a time machine, where would you go?"
Aside from the money-making responses of looking up lottery numbers or the biggest winners in the stock market, one of the top responses always involves Hitler. Most would kill him as a blight on history.
Given that Trump has been labeled as someone worse than Hitler, a terrorist, and a threat to democracy itself, is it any wonder that the average Democrat considers killing Trump their civic duty?
The Democrats and their propaganda arm, the MSM, know what they are doing. Even after this latest attempt, many are doubling down on their rhetoric... and calling on Trump to dial back his own rhetoric as the ultimate example of gaslighting hubris.
We aren't done with the attempts on Trump's life. The marching orders have been received and more "lone actors" will continue to act on what they consider to be the highest calling of their generation. The MSM and the three-letter agencies will feign ignorance as they fan the flames.
Pray for President Trump and our nation. He has thus far been miraculously protected. May his protection continue.
I would be born at a time where I woudl have been gone by 1990, maybe 95 or so-
Wish i didnt have to see the depths of depravity and anger and hatred and political warfare and hostile takeover of our nation being committed by the left-
We had a great nation until 1995 or so- before obama and his hostile nation destroying agenda took over-
I disagree. The clarion call on the Left is to be rid of Trump... by any means. Pointing it out isn't the same as making the call. There is no similar call on our side.
1988.
I wouldn’t go anywhere. I would put all democrats on it, and send them back to the days of Noah, and force them to take part in the Flood. 😀
“It isn’t hard to know where Trump is at any moment. “
It sounds like the guy was lying in wait, biding his time until PDJT might come by. Newsmax reported that his cell phone shows he went to that location around 1:30 a.m. So several (~12) hours.
I’d go back even farther than the rest of you. I’d go to Eden and kill that damned snake before he charmed Eve.
Essentially correct. Theoretically (quantum mechanics), time doesn't really exist but is a usable tool for equations.
I read a doctoral dissertation that studied, I think thirty assassinations throughout history to see if the assassin’s political objectives were obtained. The answer across the bord was no. There were lots of reasons why the assassin’s plans didn’t work but my takeaway was the logic of kill this guy and something “good” happens was flawed in so many unexpected ways that such simplistic thinking was fantasy thought.
WWII was like tornado weather. Tornados are an effect of a large high-pressure region next to a large low-pressure region. A tornado can erupt anywhere on the contact line. Whether the tornado is labeled Hitler, or Trump doesn’t matter. If there’s no Hitler and no Trump but two large differing pressure zones against one another, you will get the tornado regardless of what you name it.
as far as time travel is concerned it would be read only.
You do make a good point in that, from our perspective and viewpoint, the past (like this morning's great cup of coffee) is behind us and only exists in our memories unless memorialized in writing somewhere).
If we could get outside of our constraints (but who can?), we might be able to see all of eternity - past, present and future as well. That is only available to a being who is outside of our constraints.
In my worldview, that escape from time & place only exists in God, who created everything, including time & space. And I can't wrap my mind around any of that, so I live by faith.
I would go back to the writing of the Constitution and tell the founders what their wording has lead to. Term limits, balanced budgets and a more detailed first and second amendment would surely be in the revised document. Or they may fall into despair and forget the whole endeavor.
But whichever it was, someone needs to go back and stop it from being invented!
Why not go back sooner and help Wilson into an early grave. Then no income tax or WWI either.
Are you bucking for sainthood?
Supernatural
There's a funny scene from "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" where he complains about the modern pronunciation guidelines for Latin where vicissim goes from being pronounced:
VIE-SIS-SUM to
We Kiss 'em
At least record him on video and audio saying where he was born 🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking 1972 maybe even 1969
Go tell Eve that snakes lie.
