(The Hill) – A Democrat running for the Texas House of Representatives released a pro-marijuana campaign ad Monday that depicts the candidate smoking a blunt and a bong.
The attention-grabbing ad called “It’s HIGH Time for Change in Texas” features the candidate, Sally Duval, criticizing the state’s “confusing and unclear” policies on marijuana use while appearing to use it herself. The shot opens with Duval smoking a blunt, and the ad ends with her smoking a bong and coughing afterwards.
“You might already know what’s in this, but do you know who has no idea and no way to test it? Law enforcement,” Duval said at the start of the ad.

Giving yourself the munchies won’t help you with that big fat gut, sis
Makes sense. Cannabis is the de facto official mind-altering substance of choice of the Democrat party.
Make it mandatory for all politicians at least once a month, on a weekend, in a comfortable environment.
But then she forgot she was running, so never mind.
Just one more indication of the deterioration of society in general.
Take drugs, terminate the life of the unborn and the belief that there is more than 2 genders......anyone familiar with the Bible knows it speaks to all that in one way or another.....and none of it is good.
One animal that may be even harder to spot than big foot......the Christian democrat....do they even exist?
There is no Kern County in Texas.
Must be Kerr County.
I guess she passed it to the journalist too.

That is one of those sentences that perhaps goes to a photo caption that has nothing to do with the article at hand. It refers to Kern County because the news source is from Kern County, California. That is where Bakersfield is located..
I took one for the team and read the article. The line about Kern County is a link to another article about California.
Looks like she has been stoned her entire life.
yeah, I see there is a Kern County, CA.
This article writes of a Texas democrat who is running for the Texas Legislature in District 73.
It’s confusing. Why is a Texas democrat running for political office in Texas making a news release in Kern County, CA?
BTW, District 73 takes in Comal & Hays counties - which isnt far from Kerr County (Kerrville).
I guess that’s California for ya.
Science has proved that continued cannabis use WILL eventually render one to morph into a fat post toasty.
"confusing and unclear"
This is what a collapsed society & failed nation state looks like.
Do you drink alcohol or smoke tobacco?
Because alcohol has ruined more families, taken more lives via heath failure, drink driving accidents and put right alcohol poisoning than marijuana ever has and ever will. That’s easily quantifiable fact Google scholar is loaded with the sad evidence.
Tobacco same for health deaths millions have died with cancer directly caused by tobacco use it’s a straight cold blooded killer that’s not even up for debate the science is so bloody clear on it.
I swear boomers have such a boner for weed banning but then drink like sailors on leave and get all uppity about a plant. Want to save lives the drinkers and their victims, save families and preserve decent society ban alcohol and use modern technology and the full weight of the state to enforce it that will have a very real positive effect. I haven’t touched weed in 30 years no dog in that hunt but the data is clear alcohol is much more additive ,much more deadly in acute exposure, much more deadly as a long term toxin, much worse for domestic violence and family destruction. It’s a vice of the first order equal to additive levels in the brain chemistry as cocaine. Seriously ban alcohol it would be better for society than any weed ban ever could hope to do.
