I’ve never even been to South Carolina much less Greenville but I do know this:
Before you move check out the demographics and the ethnicity of the place you have in mind. Look at poverty levels, at education levels and median incomes. Wikipedia and many other websites have this data for you to consider.
Go there and spend a week and experience all that Greenville has to offer.
Oh. And get input from fellow FReepers!
I moved 8 years ago. To a place I knew well. But these stats help make my county a real nice and safe place to live.
The political climate in ******* County, TX is very conservative.
In **** County, TX 19.7% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 79.0% voted for the Republican Party, and the remaining 1.3% voted Independent.
In the last Presidential election, **** county remained overwhelmingly Republican, 79.0% to 19.7%.
***** county voted Republican in every Presidential election since 2000.
The racial makeup of the county was 94.02% White, 0.33% Black or African American, 0.90% Native American, 0.28% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 2.55% from other races, and 1.86% from two or more races. 13.51% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Go there and spend a week and experience all that Greenville has to offer
Best advice I have seen..
