4Runner, I agree with you about her line of attack. I disagree with your conclusion. Yes, no matter what Harris does or says, she will be deemed the winner of the debate by the media. The good news is the debate doesn’t matter. It will not move the needle. They never do.

For every weepy beta-male who is swayed by Harris’ prosecutorial brilliance, an equal number of Democrat men will be turned off, reminded of their ex-wives. Trump is winning this election. We just need to keep our heads down, keep grinding, chase those ballots, and get our people to the polls.

I don't know about that. Here are some examples where the debates arguably mattered because the moments are still memorable today:

1. Reagan/Mondale: "I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience."

2. Bush/Dukakis: Bernard Shaw asked "Governor, if Kitty Dukakis were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?"

3. Quayle/Bentsen: "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."

4. Bush/Clinton: George H. W. Bush looked at his watch.

5. Bush/Gore: Al Gore kept sighing and interrupting.

6. Romney/Obama: The first debate caught Obama unprepared. Romney rolled over in the second debate.
