Last week I came down with COVID-19. Again.
I’m not even sure why I tested. I just really didn’t feel well, and I wanted to know if I was overreacting or if I actually was as sick as I felt. For hypochondriacs like myself, it’s kind of nice to have validation that it’s not in our heads when there actually is a virus making us feel terrible. And I just happened to have one COVID-19 test left in the medicine cabinet.
I’m just one of many Americans to have gotten sick in the past few weeks, due, I’m pretty positive, to our children’s return to the germ circus that is school. I’m also one of many Americans who wasn’t clear on what I was supposed to do once I saw the two lines on the test. I wondered if there were even protocols anymore, or if we are just treating COVID-19 like a cold now.

My buddy went somewhere (big organization, lots of healthy young fit kids in a big room playing on computers) and said everyone was sick. He came back sick too.

I read somewhere that covid masks made fear a virtue. There it is.
I read the home tests read positive 75 percent.

I was at ground zero in Texas when the first round of COVID hit.
My January 2020 chest xray showed clean, clear lungs.
My April 2020 xray showed cracked glass lungs.
For most Americans, COVID was no big deal. For some of us, it was a nightmare.
And don’t presume I was some out of shape slob with pre-existing conditions or co-morbidities. Just 6 months prior, my husband and I spent 2 weeks trekking across Italy. I am 5’8, weighed 130 lbs., and was a successful working wife and mother who easily took care of a demanding job, a large house, 3 teenagers, pets, and my husband.
Now I get exhausted folding laundry, am restricted from driving, and am forced to mask up in public because every time I’m exposed, it wreaks havoc: massive lung infections, additional scarring, shuts down my digestive system, causes life-threatening novel seizures that turn off my autonomic functions, including breathing.
I am a long hauler. Thankfully, I’m still working. My job set me up remotely and gives me unlimited time off.
Never vaxxed. Wasn’t putting that poison in my system. COVID did enough, thank you very much.

Some people still have/live in the covid psychosis. Had someone tell me they had covid and were just now getting symptoms. Why would someone/anyone test before having symptoms for a minimum of 12-24 hours. It’s like it’s still some bogie man badge to some. I also don’t understand the people who proudly state they have covid 4or 5 times while telling me how many boosters they have had. Duh their logic circuits aren’t working. The only people I know still getting tested and catching it repeatedly are the vax boosted people. The psychosis is going to last years.

I am of the opinion that both the virus, and much of what went into the arms of millions...

Germ circus is an apt description of everything Demonrat. Because they no longer democratically vote anymore, their modern moniker is more accurately the "Germ Circus Party".
