The ownership group has 3 complexes from what I’ve read and they’ve were in trouble with the city well before the gangs showed up. They set the stage for the gangs like ants, they found the sugar.
What happens if the City of Aurora takes ownership of the complex—citing the need for low-income housing?
The question is:
Were they in trouble with the city well before any excessive property taxes, tenant "rights" legislation or rent "control", and were crimes/criminals against the landlord and tenants solved, prosecuted, convicted and jailed?
Only then is government malfeasance not the cause of this disaster.
They shouldn't be here to begin with, and the government hacks lied when stating that there isn't a gang problem. This is politicians looking for a scapegoat.
Did the trouble start with COVID restrictions on evicting non-paying tenants ?
