'This is our city!' Sylacauga citizens shut down for questioning influx of Haitian migrants
“Tiffany”: I think I spotted the problem.
A black politician protecting future black voters ... what a surprise
Saw this the other day. Nix knows whats going on but I suspect she’s part of the problem (Nix seems to be a common name I see attached to businesses and such). I suspect Sylacauga is not the only place with migrant influx of late. Guadalahoover, I mean the Sh-tty of Hoover, recently opened a refugee assistance center nearby to a bunch of apartment complexes not know for their large populations of native born Americans. add to that I have seen an increase in headscarf wearing women with large broods of children. I’m sure that there’s a lot going on under the surface that is being purposefully hidden to avoid alerting those who would rightfully object.
The speaker is a clown... trying SO hard to be cool and not being straightforward enough
I was really disappointed in the men on the council - cat must have got their tongue.
They could have voted to continue the meeting and listen to citizen concerns without agreeing with what the citizen was saying.
Instead, they ran like scared politicians; this in Alabama.
Citizens there need to clean house.
I know its been said many times the abject dismissal of citizen’ s concerns about influx & new populations creates more negativity and societal unrest.
People should pay attention for whom they vote and it looks like they got a whole big bucket of pig slop right in their faces. They to come grips voting LEADERS not seat warmers and leaders who put citizen concerns first.
Otherwise, shutting down dialogue makes one wonder who is getting bribed
I hope this reported incident in one small town does not indicate that Alabama is going the way of Georgia.
The loss of Georgia has been devastating. And it has occurred with a Republican governor and comfortably large Republican legislative majority.
I can’t explain it unless it is carpetbaggers and scalawags.
The loss of free speech runs deep in this country...
The time to worry about it and take action was many decades ago...
