seemingly “healthy” ones like whole grain breads, breakfast cereals, flavored yogurts and plant milks

Hold on there. I take issue with this. Since when are whole grain breads and plant milks "seemingly healthy?" They ARE healthy. Sugar bombs like flavored yogurts and breakfast cereals, not so much.

I don’t know about whole grain breads, but plant milks are anything but healthy. They are entirely fake. They go through multiple processes with all sorts of additives and sweeteners to make them halfway palatable. I wouldn’t touch any of them with a barge pole. Simple whole milk is the best. It has least amount of handling.

Have you looked at the ingredients lists for them? I’m not convinced they are “healthy” at all, though probably not as bad as sugary other stuff.

Plant milk? Seriously? Either drink milk or don’t, but “plant milk”? YGBSM!

Oh - and whole grain breads are still simple carbs with a bit of useless fiber added. Not good for you, just less bad than Wonder bread.
