The guy was a colorectal surgeon! He had no business performing such a surgery. I hope the victim’s family sues him and the hospital for everything!

Florida DOH info does not list him as a surgeon but as an osteopathic physician. Maybe he has another license from out of state.

The Fl DOH site does not list him a surgeon but as a D.O. The other doctor is listed as an internal medicine physician and an Anesthesiologist.

Wow!
This dude performed surgery on me!
In February, I had a procedure performed by Dr. Shaknovsky. He did a great job, he’s an Army Reservist, and a great person.

Probably a DEI doctor, or something.

The Department of Health info does not list any surgery training for him. Simply has him as a physician.

Heh. Even a carpenter knows a hot spleen and a cold liver are both bad mojo.

..and to you also. My brother had his surgery at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. They have a large statue of her on the top of the hospital and light the statue up every time they perform a transplant. They had a very high recovery rate. My brother eventually learned who his donor was. Amazing they shared quite a few things in common including hunting and fishing.

On the other hand, the best docs I had have been osteopaths.
They get the same education an MD gets, just with an emphasis on whole body health.

He’ll need them. I imagine the current ones are thinking about getting another doctor.

From Medical News Today: Shaknovsky birthdate is 1982, has 15 years experience. Speaks fluent Russian. Midwestern University graduate 2009 for his undergraduate degree. Looks like a foreign exchange student. Possibly decided to stay in the U.S. instead of returning to Russia or Ukraine. Or parents may have emigrated here during the 80’s. Biographical detail not included in the profile.

Comparison—Midwestern University’s “Acceptance Rate” is 95%, compared to Harvard University’s, which is 5.6%. So almost everyone who applies at Midwestern is granted admission.

Obviously the nurse's fault. She had the head on the wrong end of the table.
Any barber could make the same mistake.

"Surgeon Inexplicably Removes Wrong Organ: Attorney" Ever wonder if some democrats pick their surgeons the same way they pick their presidents?

Maybe, just maybe, they should have done a quick Google image search before starting the cutting.

The patient’s right side, or the doctor’s right side?
