My response is that Pence ran against Trump and had his chance to take his plans for America to the American people - or at least Republican voters. He lost. Miserably.

To me Trumps biggest failure was many of the people he surrounded himself with, but I will cut him some slack as I also didn’t realize how wide and deep the swamp was. Hopefully this time he is fully “woke” to this reality.

It will not be easy finding good people. Remember the 10000 actual fbi files in Clinton White House, it is much much much worse now and everyone has skeletons. If you are a politician probably more than most and the deep state knows them.
Even if you don’t there is the tap on your shoulder and the whisper in your ear “ you have a beautiful daughter who goes to x school would be a tragic if something happened to her on the way to school….”

If they can try to assassinate a former president there is little they won’t try to keep power
