There’s that saying, ‘f**k around and find out,’ and for one anti-Trump voter, it cost him dearly. Yet, it’s an older clip. It went viral again over the weekend after a repost by some prominent accounts, like ‘Defiant L’s,’ which tracks liberal self-owns and those afflicted by Trump derangement syndrome. The incident occurred in September of 2023. I don’t know the location, but it could be ‘Anywhere,’ USA, because it remains a hilarious exchange where instant karma is written all over it.
A vehicle's driver approaches a Trump supporter holding a flag supporting the former president’s 2024 candidacy. It obviously triggered this individual, who spits on the flag and then tries to flee by hitting the gas. He barely got 30 feet before crashing into a pole, followed by the police arriving seconds later.

The deep state doesn't need to send out an assassin to kill the President. They havbe spread so much ffoam-at-the-mouth hatred for Pres. Trump that all they needd to do is look the other way and one of their followers will try to kill him.
No, it certainly DID NOT.
Nice touch, but FAKE NEWS by Vespa.
Matt Vespa works too much. He’s getting like the folks at MSNBC. Looking for little tidbits to blow out of proportion. Then there’s the clickbait headlines. He won’t be too accomplished until he gets away from gossip reporting and more analysis.
Sorry folks but I read Townhall every day and it’s getting irritating.
Well, do tell, what part of it is fake? Did it happen, or was it staged? When? Who or what is vespa? Don’t make us google this, just give a bit of your learned details.
Typical inconsiderate Leftist. One might assume that would protect others from his spittle-flecked lips, if he were only considerate enough of others to wear it.
These people are mentally ill. They have no self control. They are stuck in perpetual adolescence. And we have to share the country with them.
I live in the bluest of blue states, and about a month ago I was holding a sign at a Trump standout, and the things these people would do and say was not shocking at all for me, because I know what they were like. But it was disturbing nonetheless.
It was a very busy intersection, and one guy got stuck at the light, and during the long light, several minutes, he rolled down his window and stuck both middle fingers out the entire time.
Another guy, younger, with an elderly woman in the passenger seat, spewed a stream of invective at us that would make a normal person flinch, as she sat staring ahead. Probably his mother. Shameful.
But that is who modern Democrats are.
Just like that man.
I didn’t state the video was fake, but the claim by Vespa that it was 2023 is fake.
See below, validating my memory, a Blaze article on the event from November 16, 2020.

Shame on Vespa for devolving to clickbait. Took me but a few minutes to validate my memory. We don’t need this crap clouding the political landscape.
Again, nice touch, but it’s recycled for clickbait or a reckless error by Vespa.
I don’t fault the OP; I immediately recognized it as being MUCH older than 2023.
Note re Matt Vespa (the Townhall author & senior editor there):
https://intelligentrelations.com/journalist/matt-vespa/
logi_cal869, I assume you are not denying it happened, but are pointing out that he got the date wrong? Getting the date wrong, if done unintentionally, is not fake news. It is an error, and it happens. (By the way, just for clarity, do you know when it actually did happen? I am genuinely curious)
Blowing it out of proportion? Dirtysecret, perhaps you have never stood out on a corner with a conservative message where you might encounter these kind of people, but I have, a lot, and this is who they are.
They should be shamed for this behavior which is both common and typical because they lack impulse control, and we should encourage that shaming.
Thank you. I think the negative reaction to the video on the basis of a wrong date is misplaced, but I suspect we will disagree on that.
Yes, we will.
Not only is townhall.com a pit of garbage, but vespa is correctly cited in online credits as a ‘conservative blogger’.
No ‘journalist’ would EVER have posted this as recklessly as he did.
In fact, the leftists are WORSE today; vespa should do a piece on THAT instead of lazy recycled events with fake citations (i.e., CLICKBAIT)...but that would require WORK.
The virtue signaling mask is the frosting on the cake. Mask up to spit. LOL.
A vehicle's driver approaches a Trump supporter holding a flag supporting the former president’s 2024 candidacy.
Even though the vid triggered my memory, the "2020" flags are clearly visible even on my small phone screen with my older eyes.
Shameful.
I think you guys are confusing it with a woman who flipped the bird from her car in 2020. This guy spit; he did not flip the bird. I think these are similiar but different karma.
You do know Town Hall is not “news” it is opinion, right? If you read it as news, you aren’t doing it right.
I personally don’t consume it and never go there. But I think this level of anger is misplaced and wasteful.
So, yes, we will disagree.
I think you posted to the wrong person, Stepan12. I am referring to video you posted.
That said, logi_cal869 did post an article from 2020 with the video you posted, so the author clearly got the date wrong.
I simply look at it and recognize that it DID and DOES happen, and other posters are irritated at the sloppiness.
I think that is wasted emotion, personally. The point is, it did happen, and makes not a bit of difference if it happened today or in 2020.
Every single demonrat is nothing but a spoiled brat and bully, therefore not trustworthy at all.
I (we, ‘ahem’) must combat fake news and ai-delivered bs on a daily basis. Abject laziness irritates me to a level of ‘maddening’. You use the word ‘anger’; if that’s how my irritation comes across, imagine me truly angry.
In before the lefties claim,
“MAGA so desperate that they recycle old news.”
/s
I saw this video years ago.
They are going to claim all that, desperation, lies, fake news, whatever, correctly or incorrectly, regardless.
I get that WE will know what is right and what isn’t, but they wouldn’t care even if we did get it right. They would simply lie and say the video isn’t real, is AI generated, or whatever, and wouldn’t even blink.
In our case it is likely an unintentional error.
In their case, their lies are deliberate and intentional, not errors, so in either case, we don’t surrender the moral high ground.
We don’t surrender that moral high ground because we DO bring up these kinds of things, as you rightly did here. (note that I didn’t disagree with the fact that you brought it up, I applaud that, I simply disagree with you on the characterization of the effort by someone like Matt Vespa who you apparently don’t care for, but I am relatively indifferent to.)
And that is what we have to do, what any thinking person has to do, in this age of informational fire-hoses called “The Internet”. We have to filter and judge information as we see it, not absorb it like the drones who watch network television.
And that is what you did in this case, and I am with you on that.
Honestly, I saw that in the past, but I have no idea if it was one year or three years. When you become a senior, time begins to compress somewhat. At least it does for me.
