A baby boy with no family was laid to rest by police and strangers after his body was found at a South Dakota recycling center.
The full-term baby was discovered at at Millennium Recycling in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on August 6th. There was no known name or family for the little child.
'And look at the family he has now,' Pastor Travis Remme, referring to the large gathering at Wednesday's Service of Remembrance for Gabriel.
Despite ongoing investigations, authorities have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding Gabriel's death, including his age and how long he had been at the recycling center. It is also unclear whether he died of natural causes, or if he was killed.
Sioux Falls Police Department spokesman Sam Clemens described the infant as 'full-term' and acknowledged that the investigation is ongoing.
The community has been deeply affected by this heartbreaking tragedy, and numerous individuals and organizations have come together to offer their condolences and support.
On August 28th, a memorial service was held at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel to honor Gabriel's short life.
'It's a trying time anytime someone loses your child; it's not the natural order,' funeral director Matthew Koball said. 'It's really the least we could do to give back to the community because it's the right thing to do.'

What has changed? Why are they leaving the babies in dumpsters, ditches and recycling centers? Basically leaving them to die?
What in our society changed that people would leave a baby to die rather than leave it where someone would find it and adopt it?
“Get every male’s DNA. You only need it, one time!”
Some guys are really stupid with too much testosterone and minimal decency!
This might just replace some of the T with some common sense and decency.
We’re way more callous having a culture which has grown to accept infanticide.
Or maybe consider they’re #ing a kill hole
Testosterone doesn’t seem to be what killed this baby.
Nothing.
Go read about how many babies were pulled out of the Themes daily in the 1800s.
Read about Thomas Coram and his work to try to provide for these children.
Humans are both angels and monsters.
The worst part is, if he hadn’t been born yet, this would have been sanctioned as a “choice”.
You would think with the amount of dna tech out there the child could be connected to the mother and father.
Do they have these types of problems in countries that practice decency or honor?
“Go read about how many babies were pulled out of the Themes daily in the 1800s.”
I have. The owners of “baby farms” A for profit orphanage. Majority of the babies came from these places.
They know there are more cameras in public spaces. Less likely to be seen or identified in places that are not frequented by the general public.
Name one.
This makes my stomach turn to the point of vomiting.
Now, consider the character of people that surround you. Makes me not want to set foot outside the front gate. I fear them.
We need to be whacking off some male members for starters and sterilizing a bunch of sorry women and girls.
I imagine its connected to illegal migrants and human smuggling.

I wonder what happens to these women after they get away with doing such criminal things. How about the next time they get pregnant with a baby they ‘want’? Do they feel any remorse, guilt, shame? Do they tell their husbands about their criminal inclinations?

Probably it is not generally known, but I thought infants could be given up at fire stations with no questions asked.
Before that, these babes were left on the courthouse steps, and before that, on the church steps or at the gate of an abbey, where the nuns would care for the wee mite until a proper adoptive family could be found to take bim/her in.
Now these unwanted babies can be left at fire or police stations (or even “baby boxes”) rather than discarded as trash.
I suppose when aborted babies are tossed in the medical waste container (or sold for parts) that attitude flows downstream to live babies tossed in dumpsters.
This story is so painful, so heartbreaking to read.
Be strong for this boy now sits at the Right Hand of our Lord. Praise Jesus and have faith.
What, from this story, would give you that indication?
