RFK Jr. Pops Kamala’s Pretty Balloon

Have you ever watched a child reaching for a red balloon?

First comes the wide-eyed wonder, the giddiness, the excitement. But when the balloon pops, and they always do, then comes the silent cry.

The hands come up to the head in anguish in the way of all primates. The mouth opens but there is no sound. It is the silent cry. Then come the tears as the remains of the popped balloon just sit there on the floor.

If you don’t feel for a child saddened by a popped balloon you have no heart.

But Kamala Harris, who was Joe Biden’s running mate, is no child. She’s the Democrat presidential nominee who talks like a tough badass prosecutor. And she apprenticed in the political arts under California badass Democrat boss Willie Brown, so she knows all about elbows and kicking butt.

And yet her balloon was popped by Robert Kennedy Jr. the independent third-party presidential candidate from the legendary Kennedy family. He dropped out of the race on Friday and endorsed former President Donald J. Trump in the November election. And just like that her momentum from the Democrat National Convention in Chicago was interrupted, then broken. The balloon burst. Tears to follow.

The 2020 election was extremely close in popular vote that decided the key battleground states. Back then old Joe was polling higher than Harris polls today. Kennedy’s endorsement of Trump is a significant event.

In his speech in Arizona endorsing Trump, Kennedy said:

“The DNC deployed aligned judges to throw me and other candidates off the ballot and to throw President Trump in jail. It ran a sham primary that was rigged to prevent any serious challenge to President Biden. Then, when a predictably bungled debate performance precipitated the palace coup against President Biden, the same shadowy DNC operatives appointed his successor, also without an election. They installed a candidate who was so unpopular with voters that she dropped out in 2020 without winning a single delegate,” Kennedy said.

“My uncle and my father both relished debate. They prided themselves on their capacity to go toe-to-toe with any opponent in the battle over ideas. They would be astonished to learn of a Democratic Party presidential nominee who, like Vice President Harris, has not appeared in a single interview or unscripted encounter with voters for 35 days. This is profoundly undemocratic. How are people to choose when they don’t know whom they are choosing, and how must this look to the rest of the world?”

“Instead of showing us her substance and character, the DNC and its media organs engineered a surge of popularity for Vice President Harris based on, well, nothing—no policies, no interviews, no debates—only smoke and mirrors and balloons in a highly-produced Chicago circus,” he said.

“How did the Democratic Party choose a candidate who has never done an interview or a debate during the entire election cycle? We know the answers. They did it by weaponizing government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy,” Kennedy said. “They did it by silencing the opposition and by disenfranchising American voters. What most alarms me isn’t how the Democratic Party conducts its internal affairs or runs its candidates. What alarms me is the resort to censorship and media control and the weaponization of federal agencies.”

Can any serious person dispute what Kennedy said? She is the Democratic presidential nominee, beneficiary of the Obama coup that rid the Democrats of old Joe Biden. They pushed him off the stage in Chicago, and forensic experts studying the convention floor should find Biden’s skid marks any day now.

They really loved Joe? The congenital liar Bill Clinton said Joe gave up power willingly. Obama, who pushed him out, said Joe was decent. Nancy Pelosi wanted to put Biden up on Mt. Rushmore. Oprah Winfrey said the convention was an ode to joy. Michelle Obama, she of the many mansions, warned us about greed, to not take too much. What have the Obamas done for the black community? Nothing. Hillary Clinton? Hillary took care of Hillary.

On that stage in Chicago, all the big mouths flapping their lips did was to reinforce the truth of the convention in Chicago: It was all complete fantasy.

No policy, no explanation of her plans that would fundamentally change the nature of America. No discussion, no acknowledgement. No mention of the 3.5 years she served as vice president in an administration that opened the borders allowing illegals inside.

The way the Democrats stuffed all reality into the Memory Hole was amazing: She wasn’t vice president, she was born in a peach blossom, and the dew was her baptism.

Nothing but feelings and abortion and anti-Trump hysteria. Nothing but feelings. And more feelings. And joy and giddiness and feelings.

My friend Dan Proft, the conservative Chicago radio talk show host, has talked about people that rely only on feelings and emotion. This addiction to sentimentality leads them, inexorably he says, to the gas chamber.

Can a nation live on feelings? Kamala Harris and Obama who’ll use her as a foolish wooden puppet to run his fourth term think feelings alone can win her the election.

How did the Democratic Party choose a candidate who has never done an interview or a debate during the entire election cycle? We know the answers. They did it by weaponizing government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy.

“None of it is real,” writes John Daniel Davidson of the Federalist. “The DNC has all the trappings of a major political party convention but without any of the substance. Not a single Democrat voter cast a primary ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris, yet Democrats are going through the motions as if that’s exactly what happened.”

Laughing, they all ran after the red balloon. MSNBC and CNN and the New York Times and the broken Chicago papers, and ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR and others who’ve given up on journalism and facts.

And then came RFK Jr., who endorsed Trump which benefit the Republicans in close battle ground states, from Wisconsin, and Michigan, Georgia and Arizona and others.

Real Clear Politics co-founder and president Tom Bevan and other poll experts say RFK helps Trump by dropping out. He has sound judgement. And I agree with him.

You don’t need a crying child to know what is happening to the Kamala vibes balloon. Obama and the Democrat bosses shoved her down Democrat throats. And RFK Jr. took a pin to it by dropping out in the battleground states, where Kennedy had been picking up between 4-6 points and endorsing Trump.

Will this win Trump the election? I can’t say.

But what I do know is that after the Hopium clears, beginning Monday people will go to the grocery store and buy expensive food. They’ll have to pump gas. They’ll think about Kamala not bothering to explain or do interviews.

And Kamala Harris and her corporate media suck ups will tell you they’re not concerned, and that Kennedy is crazy.

And now after the week of fantasy in Chicago, it is the time for the silent cry and tears.

But that’s politics. Just like balloons are part of politics.

And tears, too.

Can a nation live on feelings?

The entire educational system was set up to use emotion to produce a controllable demos, starting in 1885.

“the DNC and its media organs...”

They are more like media harmoniums, with Trump and Vance being the Boardwalk Hall and Wanamaker organs, respectively.

It’s nothing more voter bribe money pulled out of American wallets and purses can’t solve.

There’s the audacity of hope, the United States Postal Service, and reams of blank ballot paper.

Thanks for the post. I lost track of John Kass.

Once upon a time Chicago used to produce tough no-nonsense journos like Kass.

No more.

I will bookmark his site and look forward to reading what’s on his mind.
