What is ‘SOS mode’? What does SOS mean in this context?It's a feature that allows connection with other cellular networks for emergency calls or texts when your cellular network is unavailable. For iPhone 14 and above, you can even use satellite for emergency calls only. iPhone also has a feature that will send a text to your emergency contacts with your location data if you make an emergency call in SOS mode.
