The First Amendment says:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
The executive branch is to execute the laws that are duly passed. If the legislative branch cannot make laws abridging the freedom of speech, then the executive branch cannot be faithfully executing the laws if they do so themselves.
The people who are at fault here are the people in the executive branch who violated their oaths to protect and defend the US Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.
They ALL belong in Gitmo, IMHO. And that is the only thing that will stop this tyrannical crap the nation is currently suffering.
