“With internal combustion engines (ICE) on the way out and electric vehicles (EV) on the way in “

These leftists are amazing! They just literally speak things into existence no matter how insane and unscientific and we all have to live with it. Wow!

To refuel your car: Pull up to the hydrogen pump, shove the nozzle in and pull the lever.

Sounds expensive to build and operate.

cheap, but not green. You can also make it by splitting water in an electrolyzer using renewable energy, which makes it green, but not cheap.

decisions, decisions.

I read that in Seattle, or maybe it was King county the lefties decided to vote that new city vehicles be use Hydrogen, and the busses also.

Unfortunately they never figured out until later that the nearest hydrogen fueling station is in Canada.

You can also make it (H2) by splitting water in an electrolyzer using renewable energy, which makes it green, but not cheap. …
  1. Define “renewable”. (Any definition of this word I encounter from liberals leaves me concluding that they must want a return to steam engines that burn wood, straw, sugar cane et al.)

  2. Define “green”. (Always we return to the lie that CO2 is the guilty gas but H2O is not.)

  3. Hydrogen’s adiabatic flame temperature is much higher than gasoline or even natural gas, meaning that engine parts are in higher danger of heat fatigue and that NOx emissions can increase a lot. Also, H2’s higher volume versus other fuels means you’re going to have to tow a tender behind your vehicle, aside from the other storage/leakage problems.

It runs on Hydrogen, therefore practically useless.
