The parents of Trump shooter Thomas Crooks have hired a team of powerhouse attorneys as the FBI continues to investigate just how much they knew ahead of their son's assassination attempt on the former president, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The development comes as one family member shared with DailyMail.com that the FBI, 'still very much has questions' regarding how much the killer's parents knew – while revealing that his father Matthew Crooks, 53, is a gun enthusiast who has sold firearms to relatives in the past.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, the family member who asked not to be named said, 'The FBI still very much has questions about how much they knew and how he [Thomas] slipped through the net.'

Guy is probably smart to lawyer up. Because at this point, it is not far fetched to believe the Feds are trying to deflect attention anywhere other than the failures (possibly intentional) on July 13, and the family would make a convenient scapegoat.

Today’s “powerhouse” defense attorney is any attorney that folds to the state’s interest over the law and their client.
The old “What did you know and when did you know it?”
If the law firm is filled with libs they might do it pro bono since his son did what they only wish they could do.
Suicides are on the schedule. Pappa Bear and Mamma Bear are on borrowed time. The deep state needs to rid itself of loose ends. Perhaps some local law enforcement and SS Personnel too.

I think it was Maxwell Yearick, who lived in Arizona.
Someone went to his house, asking for him, and his sister or someone related kind of acknowledged he lived there but then denied any knowledge of him. Needless to say, he’s still missing.
Still mulling over how did shooter Crooks have encrypted accounts in a few foreign countries? Redder than red flags on that one.
The way I see it, the finger points back to the DNC. JMO.

I dare say the FBI knows more about their own involvement in this shooting than the parents ever will. After all the FBI and other alphabet agencies set up and scheduled this attempt in the first place.
The parents are probably right to lawyer up. There’s probably no doubt that the FBI is going to hang the blame all on them. “It’s all their fault.”
The lawyers have NOTHING to do with his legal jeopardy.
He has NO legal jeopardy IF he keeps his mouth shut.
The lawyers were hired to keep him SILENCED.
Not sure what he knows but as they say I’m sure he knows something.
And that something is problematic to the “powers that be.”
I saw a thread recently about those encrypted accounts. It’s probably a very safe assumption that Crooks just like many of us had some cryptocurrency. No big deal.

It shouldn’t be far from anyone’s mind the news about the mother and father who recently were convicted and sent to prison for buying a weapon that their son used in killing four high school students in MI in 2021 - sentenced this year.
As a father of 3 and a grandfather of 7, I am struggling with how a father and mother are so unaware as to not know their son, who is still living with them, is not a seriously broken person. Especially when said son attempts to assassinate one of the most powerful and well known people in the world.
I thought I read that a lot of gamers have foreign encrypted accounts.

He had a car. The police also towed away a van with AZ plates. The missing Yearick dude was from AZ.
This I believe is a key to the entire thing. I don’t believe for a minute he acted alone. If Yearick was involved that makes this entire thing very uncomfortable to the Democrats since Yearick was very involved in Antifa. That would blunt the thin “he was a registered Republican” shield they’ve been using.
