DEFINE “”TOO RURAL”.

There are ranches in N Nevada where the ranch owners leave the paved State Highway to drive to their house-—18 miles of DIRT ROAD-—and it is ALL ON THEIR PROPERTY.

Another guy used to saddle his horse every day to go to the mailbox at the edge of his property & the State Road.

HE was getting old enough that riding was getting harder. HE had a friend of mine find him a RETIRED Harness racing mare-——he bought her at a rescue price, bought a buggy, and now drives the mare every mail day to the road & back. Problem solved. I think it is about a mile or so.

That's a big ranch. For me that is too rural, when it's 18 miles just leave your property. 🀣

Now if it is only a mile to get to a store after leaving your property, then it might be doable I guess. πŸ™‚πŸ‘
