Vladimir Putin has sought to shift blame for Ukraine's surprise incursion into the Kursk region, as evidence emerged that his country's handling of the offensive was damaging the Russian leader's image.
At a virtual meeting held by Putin Thursday on the situation in Russia's Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, which border Ukraine, the president told regional officials that the "security issues" in Kursk "are problems that are the responsibility of the security agencies."

"I hope that, as was reported today, interaction between local and regional authorities, the government, and security agencies has been established, and this will also play a positive role in achieving the goals that we have here," Putin told the governors of the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions, and Kremlin officials.
Putin is reported to have ordered his forces to push back Ukrainian troops from the Kursk region by October 1, according to RBC Ukraine.

ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!
(((PING!)))
... to be added to the best Zeeper-provided entertainment since Paul Shanklin parodies, ping me bro.
You would acknowledge by posting this that he is in fact alive and not incapacitated?
Russia falling apart is really killing you, isn’t it?
No. I don't have a side I'm rooting for, so whatever.
I only object to US lives and treasure being poured into a corrupt country where we have no compelling interest, when Europe should be paying entirely.
Simple as that.
Well, plus zeepers provide the best entertainment on FR!🤣
It's like a replay of the Obama years; if you disagreed with Obama's healthcare policies, some jack@** would call you a "RACIST!" If you disagreed with his tax policies, some other jack@** would call you a "RACIST!" And if you thought Obama's foreign policies were not in America's best interest, somebody else would call you a "RACIST!"
Disagree with the official narrative on Ukraine, and the results are the same - just substitute "PUTIN PUFFER!" for "RACIST!" Guessing it might even be the same people shouting insults...
It is the hallmark of a tiny intellect…

I don’t know why they have such difficulty grasping that. To a person, they equate our being opposed to our tax dollars going unaudited to a known money-laundering operation with being “pro Russian” and “pro Putin.” That’s so devoid of any logic.
It’s as if they’re being taught to say this in some training course.
They also seem to think that we’re as obsessed with Ukraine and Russia as they are. Nah, we just poke fun at their breathless and endless spamming on FR.
It’s all over the forum, so yes, we respond.
Well, plus zeepers provide the best entertainment on FR!🤣
And there you have it. 😂
They seem mentally and emotionally unbalanced.
And neocons (traitors) and foreign_zeepers and heavy drinkers fill their ranks.
Yep. Lots of Europeans and Canadians of Slavic origin who hate Americans. They love seeing our nation shed billions of dollars for a European grifting operation.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Quiet rumblings are circulating that many of the vehicles and equipment cannot be pulled out of Kursk due to Russian and Chechan Sp Ops ambushing the roads Ukraine is using. Ukraine is doubling down, hoping for some US initative to allow them an exit window.
When the Ukrainian photo op and nuclear terrorism expedition in Kursk ends, one-third of NATOs remaining forces will be destroyed.
Over 80 tanks (Russian saying thanx) and over more than 500 other vehicles have been destroyed already, and over 8500 KIA. Had Ukraine used these mobile defensive forces to hold the lines, it would have taken Russia 3-4 mo ths to destroy this equipment.
24 August is Ukrainian Independence (NATO Dependence) Day. Everyone reporting on all sides expect the heaviest single day attack on Ukrainian infastructure in the entire tonight our time.
One minute Ukraine will look like North Korea at night, and next it will hauntly look like Seoul, S. Korea at 10 pm.
When or if the power grid is taken down 24 Aug, the rail traffic will collaspe sending AFU logistical efforts to a trickle, and the end of Kursk resupply. The substations to the 2 Uke NPPs have NEVER BEEN TARGETED; their destruction along with fuel storage will grind activity to a near halt.
The only thing moving will be Zelinski and his cronies. Maybe Zelinski will stay in his bunker in Kiev as assault troops vile for the trophy of his head on a pike.
Putin has appeared to recover from his illness last year, but Kadyrov is now reported to have only 12 to 14 months remaining before his illness kills him. That explains bold statements by some of his Chechen commanding officers. No wonder they fled from fighting in Kursk. Who knows, perhaps some hope to return to fight for Chechnia.
I saw a long video describing how Putin is now in danger within his own country. The link below is from a fairly long video interview with Diane Frances, a member of the Atlantic Council and a journalist. She had a number of interesting points to make about the dangers Putin faces. Regarding private military groups like Wagners, she observed there are many Oligarchs who have their own private armies, often at odds with other Oligarchs, and probably some very angry with what Putin’s adventure has done to their bottom line. What if enough decided to cooperate???
Putin has lost significant power of secrecy. Large numbers of bodies returning home for burial. Kursk and Belgorod each have 80 captured towns with many thousands spreading thru Russia. Imagine the power of 1/4 million RUssians (a figure calculated by commentator Constantine) calling family and friends, “Do you have a spare room, pleeeze.?” How many more will now flee from Bryansk? Enjoy the link folks, and after seeing it, some paid Russia propagandists may decide to start preparing their resumes for work elsewhere.
