A grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony was held in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, August 18, where a 90-foot-tall Hanuman statue was inaugurated. This is the third tallest statue
The statue was named ‘Statue of Union,’ and it commemorates Lord Hanuman’s role in reuniting Sri Rama and Sita. The temple has been built at the Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land, Texas. The visionary behind the project happens to be His Holiness Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji.
The website of Statue of Union says that this statue is North America’s tallest statue of Lord Hanuman, who is an “embodiment of strength, devotion, and selfless service.” “This is an opportunity for us as a community to etch a path for future generations to seek the divine blessings of Lord Hanuman,” the website says,
Describing the statue, the website says, “Located at Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land, Texas, the Panchaloha Abhaya Hanuman will stand at 90 feet tall – radiating benevolence, strength, and hope. The Statue of Union is about creating a spiritual epicenter where hearts find solace, minds find peace, and souls find a path to transcendence.”
“Let’s bring the vision of North America’s tallest Hanuman Statue to life, and together, let’s continue to create a world filled with love, peace, and devotion,” it adds.

“You sure use the language of the left while expressing their politics and immigration views.”
No I don’t at all, This is not at all about left or right. It is simply about morality. I use the source of my personal effort to be a moral man:
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:39
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10
Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:15
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19
Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword”. Matthew 26:52
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12
And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. Genesis 9:5-6
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18
If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Romans 12:18
You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:5
Need more??? Shouldn’t we all before claiming false self righteousness? We have been given no right to judge...
One more and very relevant...
With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered. Proverbs 11:9
LOL, you really are pushing the left’s immigration agenda, and your timing couldn’t be worse as your view just had their convention last night.
You should look into the immigration of Americas first 30 years or so and learn what the originals thought about your multi-culturalism and anti-Christian views on it.
Well, the satanists have a goat headed god now there is a monkey god to join him. Wonder if it’s parents got monkey pox by the monkey. Soon maybe an elephant headed god.
Romans 1:25
24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Once again. My view has absolutely nothing to do with immigration. I have no clue what they talked about last night, I refused to watch their lying garbage. I am talking about those who are ALREADY HERE and immigrated legally. Should we feel the same hate for those damned Irish Catholics who immigrated here? The Jews? We actually once did... They have a right to their religion too. As do I mine own which is obviously more morally based than yours.
More talk about “hate” when Americans talk about immigration and its effects, that religion, your claim of a superior religion to Christianity, you talk just like a lefty.
As do I mine own which is obviously more morally based than yours.
Sounds like your doing a bit of self proclaiming yourself.
“your claim of a superior religion to Christianity.”
Are you dense? What is the source of the verses I shared? I am not talking about a different religion at all. These are from your own. These are from Christianity.
Has the thought occurred to you that I might have a more moral understanding of the true moralities of Christianity and God’s word?
See there is not a problem with the faith, there is a problem with how some practice the faith. They do not practice it as God meant it to truly be practiced.
Hate and Hypocrisy are not virtues by TRUE Christian doctrine. So just claiming Christianity does not excuse or justify these in God’s eyes. It is a false stance of righteousness. To truly be moral we have to actually practice what God preached. And far too many claim they do but in real practice they do not...
It seems you aren’t even reading your own posts.
I don’t know why I was lumped into your last reply.
JD Vance’s wife approves.
Because you accused me of false righteousness and deserved a reply explaining why I believe as I believe.
Now here is the kicker... I have no faith, I am committed to absolutely none at all, zero... zip. But I absolutely do believe in the common sense moral lessons taught in the Bible. And I actually try to follow these morals obviously more so than most Christians it looks like. They don’t even truly understand or faithfully practice their own faith and doctrine as God wants them to. It is not rocket science, The way I read it God does not approve of the hate and hypocrisy. They are the biggest stains on the faith and detract from the righteousness of the faith. And even by their own true doctrine there is no way to justify it.
Until all faiths are truly and honestly practiced as they were meant to be practiced this hate on hate is going to be perpetual... Hate and hypocrisy is hate and hypocrisy. Hate and hypocrisy from one source is no more righteous than hate and hypocrisy from any other source.
Just nutty trolling.
Just what America needs. A giant idol for an alien people to worship.
There’s progress for you. Or not.
You better not read Federalist #2 then.
John Jay wasn’t remotely politically correct, and I fear that you would be greatly offended at his failure to embrace the whole world.
“I have as often taken notice that Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people—a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs, and who, by their joint counsels, arms, and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established general liberty and independence.”

My first and foremost loyalty is to the Constitution of the United States. Unfortunate inconvenience for most who would like to force ideology on others. The Constitution defends the rights of the sole individual over the whims of the mass collective. If we deviate from and not respect that truth we will soon be sharia law because it will be the NEW whim of the masses. Wanting a strict universal national religion opens the door for a new one to replace it. Every step of the way we need to fight against ALL forms of nationalized religion and respect the individual’s right to choose without persecution.
Is everyone so blind they do not see that Christianity is next up on the chopping block? And all because the individual freedom of religion is NOT respected even by Christians? They are stepping on their own toes and opening the door for something truly evil none of us need or want by wanting to compromise true individual freedom of religion. My whole point is we had better be cautious of what we wish for. Because in the end it will backfire and IT WILL NOT BE what we actually want.
Satanic
I didn’t accuse you of false righteousness. I accused you of self righteousness. True or false is between you and God.
Although, you do seem to be a bit of a Standards Troll. You know Alinsky, right? Make your enemies live up to their own rules.
I don’t recall anyone actually worshipping Bob’s Big Boy as an idol, but many gave praise and adoration to his hamburgers back in the day.
