When is the farce of electric vehicles gonna end?
This is the 2nd time I’ve been involved in a major highway closure because of ONE disabled electric vehicle. It’s ridiculous!!!

Imagine what it would be like if there were millions of them on the road. Every highway would be closed most of the time because all it takes is one vehicle to flare up.

Yes, I heard reports this morning. Around 6:20 a.m. Pacific they closed I-80 both ways to commercial traffic. Last report is they are still letting non-commercial traffic through. Wonder if this will be a repeat of the I-40 fire a couple of weeks ago that closed the freeway for several days.

Nevada: I80 WESTBOUND AT CALIFORNIA/NEVADA BORDER CLOSED TO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES /FIND ALTERNATE ROUTE
Near Emigrant, west of Truckee, in addition or because of the truck, there is a fire at SR-20.

It follows, that Electric Vehicles will be banned from all national forests and parks . . . and from wooden docks and piers . . . and from garages . . . and no closer than 100 yards to any pile of 20 or more leaves.
Also, Electric Vehicles will be banned from all highways during rush hour.
