Mykhailo Podolyak @Podolyak_M, an adviser to Zelensky, said the Kursk operation is needed to convince Russia to start fair talks.

Ukraine is not interested in occupying Russian territories. This is obvious. Because #Ukraine is waging an exclusively defensive war strictly within the framework of international law... But if we are talking about potential negotiations – I emphasize potential – we will have to put #Rf at the table opposite. On our own terms. We have absolutely no plans to beg: "Please, sit down to negotiate". Instead, we have proven, effective means of coercion.

In addition to economic and diplomatic ones, this is also a military tool. We need to inflict significant tactical defeats on #Russia. In the Kursk region, we can clearly see how the military tool is being used objectively to persuade Rf to enter a fair negotiation process. Once again, to enter into a negotiation process, not the traditional Russian propaganda and capitulation blackmail...

An important tool is also the influence on public opinion within Russia, which is beginning to change when the war has come deep into their territory. It is a fact that until recently, citizens of the aggressor country generally remained indifferent to the hostilities because they took place in Ukraine.

There is a certain illusion among our Western allies that there is a discussion among Russians about the war. No, there are no such discussions; political issues are not discussed there at all. The Russians did not talk about the war and felt quite comfortable because death and destruction were raging far away from them.

When the war came to their territory, the Russians were obviously scared. They are shocked. Although the battles in the Kursk region are referred to on television as the “known situation in the Borderland," families and friends began to whisper about the real situation at the front. Negative changes in the psychological state of the Russian population will be another argument for the start of negotiations.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Throughout the war, Putin has wanted to negotiate. After Zelensky's canceled the presidential election this year, and his term in office expired May 20, Putin said Zelensky is not legitimately president of Ukraine, and that he (Putin) would negotiate with someone else on behalf of Ukraine. Finally, it seemed the West had prevailed up on Zelensky to negotiate, days after Zelensky's office told China's officials that the Ukraine was focused on negotiations, the Ukraine crossed the border into Russia in their operation to seize the Kursk nuclear power plant.

Some of the foreign mercenaries with Zelensky's incursion forces were shooting at citizens, ambulances, fire trucks etc. and the Ukrainian forces have repeatedly tried to reach the Kursk nuclear power plant, while others damaged the Zaporozhna (sp) nuclear power plant in the Ukraine.

As a result, Putin said it's not possible to negotiate with the Ukrainians, that their incursion team are behaving like terrorists, not a military, therefore they are deemed terrorists and the Geneva convention do not protect them.

Now, Zelensky's advisor has posted in ENglish, on X, the Ukrainian's justification for the attack - they were just trying to get 'fair negotiations' from Putin.

Below Pedolyak's X.com pos, I thought this post made a valid point:

Earlier today, I came across this comment from FReeper McGruff which I believe makes a painful, but fairly accurate point.

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4259220/posts, McGruff wrote:

Seems the only hope of the globohomopedos (and their zeeper puppets)
is to try to provoke Russia into a massive over-response and justify a
Nato invasion.

So far, Putin has done enough but not too much to avoid fighting all Nato at once.

Zeepers think this means Russia is a paper tiger.

I don’t think so.

Great video!! No zeepers seem to have a problem with all those Ukrainian men who are expected to fight for the country that won’t even let them vote. Sounds an awful lot like Hitler suspending elections from 1938 on, but sending thousands of men to their death on WWII battlefields.

Perfect analysis of NATO and the West raising everything that was once Ukraine to the ground. Ukraine is squeezed between those who bought it and its government who is selling it out. When NATO and Zelinski are thru with Ukraine, the country won’t exist but those who pushed it to war will be rich. If there are any Ukrainians left in what will once be former Ukraine, at least they won’t own anything and they will be happy just to be alive.

More likely, Zelensky will go down in history as the guy whose negotiating skills rid the world of Nazi Ukraine.

Didn’t the turd have a “peace conference “ in Switzerland but kinda, sorta forgot to invite anyone from the Russian government?
He does have plenty of time for his world grifting tour but there is no time to have an election ?
He is nothing more than a money hungry, money laundering Dictator.
He doesn’t give a rats behind about any Ukie soldiers. It’s all about him and his narcissist ego.

He's also had offers from other countries like Turkey to host peace talks with the Russians, and he's turned every one of them down. How does someone whose term of office has come and gone, and who won't let Ukrainians speak through the ballot box, still wield so much authority?

“Absolutely. Let’s lose those good American jobs exporting energy to Europe and Make Russia Great Again.”

Good for you. You just prioritized immediate greed and money over a prosperous future for our Grandchildren. You just prioritized immediate greed and money over common sense and human lives. You just displayed that it doesn’t matter who is right or wrong or where the battle lines are. All that matters is worshiping the almighty dollar and perpetual profits from war.

There is absolutely no moral justification for any of those.
