Still, it’s a great speech, entirely fitting with the unfolding situation today. And he’s eloquent. There is literally nobody among American celebrities who is as well spoken.

Rowan’s speech was not recent. Though its content is timeless. The speech has been reappearing on Youtube because of current events in the U.K.

I've heard him speak before.I think he's great. Very intelligent and articulate. I also love him as Blackadder (except the first season) and as Inspector Fowler. Didn't care much for Mr Bean though...except for the parodies of Mr Bean that Harry & Paul did.

Videos will be the death of FR. My habits and PC set up preclude the viewing of videos unless it is something I really need to see.

If it gets where almost every thread is a video, I’ll stop my $400/year. While I appreciate the effort of every frequent thread poster, I can’t justify funding those type of listings.

If my preferences no longer fit the new Free Republic, well, life changes and it’s time for me to move on.

They need a separate category for video postings, imo.
